I love the look of this headset, the physical on/off button, and the voice prompts.
Pros
- Looks great black with silver accents. Boom style mic fits well in a professional setting. I have other headphone style headsets that have great sound, but with this one I don’t look like I am listening to music instead of working.
- When powered on it tells you the talk time remaining and confirms commands like “mute on”. This is much better than a generic beep.
- Battery life is as advertised (6-7 hours).
- Physical volume up/down buttons and a power switch.
- Volume is good, almost uncomfortable at max.
- The charging cable is magnetic and is easy to connect/disconnect (no weird flaps or small ports to find).
- Comes with 3 different sizes of ear bud and 2 fabric dust covers.
Things to Consider
- When paired with my iPhone, people I called could tell I was on a headset. Saying that I was loud enough, but that I sounded hollow or farther away. Background noise wasn’t an issue, but I was hoping for better sound with this style of headset.
- On my end there was a little static / distortion on both my desk phone and iPhone. Volume is the most important and that was not an issue, but overall sound quality was just adequate.
- Only a charging cable is included, you have to supply the USB port, but it charges without issue from my work laptop.
- No case is included.
- The bulk of the electronics are behind the ear. I am able to wear it all day, but it does feel weird and a little loose (I wear glasses and I only have so much space behind my ear).
I would recommend it due to its look and solid performance, but some people will have issues with fitment and sound quality. I am keeping it for work, but probably will use an alternative in other situations.

Was looking for a headset with first and foremost great sound quality and secondly nice styling. I'm a tech geek at heart so I really liked the look and feel for what it was. On a side note it looks like a futuristic hearing aid haha. (What my 83 year old Nanny said)
In all situations that I used this, driving, in noisy public areas, The person I was talking to said the sound was spectacular. The buttons are self explanatory nothing hard to figure out and placed so they're easy to use.
Some of the features that stood out for me were the snap fit magnetic chard connection. Being this small it's nice not to have to fiddle with or try and find a tiny slow to put the charger into. It has an auto answer and if I have the person in my contacts it will identify the caller and give the choice of answering or declining. Since this doesn't have a way to see the battery life it does have a button you can push and it will tell you the percentage left.
The app that they have really greatly expands all of your commands and features so I'd highly recommend downloading this for use with your headset. It tells you all sorts of information such as how much time you have left. It has a find my headset option in case you lose it, it will make a beeping sound so you can locate it. I'm a visual creature so I enjoy being able to look at and choose all of the features on my phone rather than through the buttons on the headset. It has HD voice but puts a bit more demand on battery usage. The auto answer function is pretty cool. If you have your headset sitting on a counter and your phone rings you simply pick the headset up and put it on and it automatically answers the call without having to do anything and once you take it off your ear to put it down it will either end the call or transfer it back to your phone.
Another thing to note. They have a really nice protective case for this that also is a charging system and has an internal battery. IT has a micro usb port and a battery indicator light. ITs also magnetic so it pops in and sticks.

Best headset you will use and need. I am a female truck driver and I won’t drive with one of these. The first one lasted about 2 years (the first). After all the wear and tear of daily work it never gave up on me. Even now that I don’t drive a big rig I can’t seem to call anyone without this headset. I hate to have the phone on my ear. The calls are very clear it completely cancels the calls. Once you get used to it you don’t even feel it on your ear because it’s very comfortable.
I would recommend this to a friend

Product is great for phone use. Easily connects to 2 devices at the same tiome, good sound quality, light weight, long battery life. I have been using this version and similar models made by Poly and Plantronics for over 15 years. Cannot recommend them enough.

This is a great headset that works well with my windows pc. I prefer the legend over the newer 5200. Here is why.
Voyager Legend pros when compared to Voyager 5200.
Better battery life 7 hrs vs 5-6 hrs on 5200.
Easy magnetic snap on magnetic charging cable vs difficult to use micro USB port with a tiny rubber door on 5200.
Voice commands , press a button and ask for example check battery, it tells you the charge remaining. 5200 does not have voice command feature.
Sound quality is better , your voice sounds clearer vs 5200 voice sounds bit dull but more louder.
Headset is more comfortable to wear vs 5200 is smaller and may be a tight fit.
Voyager Legend cons when compared to Voyager 5200.
Noise cancelling is superior on 5200.
Other notes:
On rare occasions I experienced Bluetooth disconnections on iphone. PC connections were stable.
Range is same on both headsets, 5200 advertises longer ranger however you will need a class a Bluetooth adapter which is not common on most phones or PCs.
Hope this review helps!

This is the best Bluetooth device ever created. As a professional driver, I appreciate the fact that I can answer calls vocally, the device lasts for years, sound quality is #1, battery lasts a long time and is very comfortable. I’ve had other Bluetooths that constantly flip out of my ear when my hair moves, butt not this brand, they are the best!

Light and comfortable, easy to use.
I found the Plantronics Voyager Bluetooth Headset easy to pair.
Love the magnetic charging connector. Makes charging a breeze.
Very light and comfortable in ear. Sounds good too. The mic bar hugs my face just right. Almost unnoticeable
Changeable ear buds.
.
Easy to use with buttons on ear post . Press it and the assistant lets you know how much talk time is left.
Allows me to access Google NOW assistant., announces who is ringing in, etc.,.

The Plantronics Voyager has all the features you want in a Bluetooth earpiece. It's comfortable enough to wear for 4-6 hours, sounds great, great microphone and noise cancellation etc. The only negative is the charging cable. This Voyager uses a proprietary magnetic charging cable that is easily disengaged. I leave my voyager charging on my desk at work overnight. the cleaning people bump it and disconnect the charger. Come in, and it's not charged. If it used a standard USB Mini or C, it would be perfect. As it sits now, If I take it in the car and need to charge, the flimsy magnetic charger disconnects every bump or sharp turn.

In a sea of Bluetooth headsets, stereo buds, cheap knockoffs and all the others, the Plantronics Voyager Legend sets the standard for "business" Bluetooth headsets. No, it's not stereo, won't play your "Tunes" (it can, just not in stereo), doesn't have the "cyborg-stroke inducing" flashing lights, nor a lot of bells and whistles. What it does have is the clearest vocal and sound quality of any Bluetooth headset I've ever used. One of the biggest negatives or downfalls of most headsets is wind. Wind noise can obliterate the voice quality of most Bluetooth headsets, but this headset comes through with flying colors. Being in extremely windy conditions does not detract from the voice quality, nor does noisy backgrounds. Callers never had any issues hearing me, or me hearing them. It does have some neat features like answering when placed on your ear, voice dialing and voice assistance. But most of all, this is just a great Bluetooth headset for being able to simply call and talk to people! Highly recommended.

most comfortable headset I have ever owned literally can wear it all day and have to remember it's in my ear other than when the phone rings I do not recommend this headset for commercial driver use as I am a commercial driver and have tried it in commercial vehicle and the noise canceling just isn't enough regular daily users great option commercial truck drivers find something else

This is a preliminary review as I've only been using it for about a week. I'll be updating this later.
Overall, a very good Bluetooth headset. The quality is very clear and my callers can't tell that I'm using a headset. It's also extremely comfortable. The over-the-ear portion is a soft plastic and it feels good in the ear.
The only downside (in my opinion) is that it uses its own proprietary charger. This means that you need to use the charger it came with instead of just plugging in a USB-C or MicroUSB. Not a deal breaker but I wish it was a standard charger.
Talk time is great, about 7 hours.

I recently tried out this Bluetooth headset and was quite pleased with the sound quality—it was crisp and clear, making calls and music enjoyable. However, the proprietary connection was a bit of a letdown, as it limited charging options and flexibility.
Unfortunately, the charging cable stopped working after just two weeks, which ultimately led me to return the product as I was not going to have extra cables just for it.
I ended up replacing it with another headset that uses a universal USB-C connection, which made a huge difference in convenience. No more hunting for a specific cable—it’s plug-and-play with the chargers I already own. It’s a small change that’s had a big impact on my everyday use.

I've used these particular Bluetooth earpieces since 2013.
I've tried a couple of others over the years, but I always find myself going back to the Legend pretty quickly.
I just love all the features it has, along with great sound quality. The battery life could be better, compared to others on the market. but it is generally unnoticeable to me. It consistently gives me 7 hours of play time.
I've had to replace them once every couple of years, but it's mostly because I'm in construction... and I put this thing through the paces. Dust, sweat, grease, paint... you name it. But I've just never found one that quite stood up to this one.
I recommend getting different ear tips for it. Ones that actually go inside the ear. It's just been better for me personally. I wish they came with memory foam plug style tips, but they haven't yet.
But aside from that, I absolutely love this thing. And I will likely continue using them for the foreseeable future.
What you get is certainly comparable, and even better than many of the others you get that are much more expensive.

Sounds better than the newer 5200, at a lower price. Long battery life. The recharging cord is unique to this earpiece, so can't use generic cords. But all in, a good value.

This thing works like a charm.
It's pack with features and I was able to do a simple firmware update using the hub software on my computer.
The sound is great and it comfortable to wear hours on end. I forget I have it on sometimes.
The hands free features in cool. When a call is coming in you can "answer" and you have the call.
It charges quickly and gives me a solid 7.5 hours of talk time
The only issue I have had and I am not sure if it's my phone or the headpiece but after being idle for a few hours a call will come in but go to the phone instead. I think this is when I am not wearing the headset but have it laying on my desk. It does seem to know when you are wearing it and not. Smart little thing :)

I am very impressed with the unit itself. It has very good clarity which is what I would expect from Plantronics. The battery truly lasts 7 hours, even with the volume up high. Those I have conversed with said they could not hear any background noise while I was talking. It rests very comfortably around my ear. Sometimes I will feel discomfort if my glasses move but it is minor and just requires adjustment. The only improvement I would make is to taper it a little bit so that the part resting on top of the ear was a little narrower to accommodate glasses a little better. It is everything you would expect from the company that has been making headsets for years.

A great headset. The sound cancellation is excellent, the battery life is good, sound quality is good. It is a substantial device, a bit heavy (relative to other smaller ear pieces), but sits firmly on the ear and does not move about, even when I am walking, going up stairs, lifting things, etc. A small complaint is that it does press a bit hard on my ear channel, but to be fair I've not tested all the various sizes of ear piece fittings yet, so that problem may get resolved. I highly recommend this headset if you need a new one, particularly if you are in noisier environments.

This is my third one. I wore out the previous 2. This headset is the best sounding headset I have tried and the noise cancelation is so good people cannot tell when I am driving.
The over the ear is very comfortable (I do not insert this into my ear it just rests against my ear)
It handles perspiration well... but I would not wear this while working out. I believe that a lot of sweat got into my last one and ruined the speaker (which is why I bought this new one) The battery lasts for hours of talking and can be recharged in about 15-20 minutes
