PROS-sound clarity is good. Had no issues with pairing or set up. Full charge says 7 hours talk time but thankfully I'm never on the phone for 7 hours a day. Relatively comfortable fit. CONS- Totally oddball charging port ( magnetic )which required me to go to Amazon and order a pair of chargers so I could have 1 for work and 1 in my vehicle.

My old Plantronics headset died after years of dedicated service. I've previously purchased jawbone headsets, but none of the reviews back then were very good for the newer versions, so I switched to Plantronics. Very good headset, clear audio and output. Holds a charge for at least 7 hours. Super easy to pair with my Android phone. Very comfortable fit on my ear. Would recommend to anyone who wants a sturdy, over the ear headset, with good sound quality. Love the caller ID feature that tells me who's calling.

This is a great Bluetooth that is very easy to use, has great battery life, very comfortable, and they are very well made. I bought this to replace my old one, same model, that lasted 4 yrs! I have heard that others have to be replaced in about 2 yrs average. This is the 4th one I have had from Plantronics since 2006 and have always worked very well with no trouble. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a Bluetooth that light, durable, great quality, has good features, and great sound.

This headset offers great audio quality as well as comfort for extended use. This headset is built well and isn't too heavy so it can be worn all day and handle call after call after call. I as well as others in my organization use these day in and out and in some days handle 8+ hours of calls. Noise cancelling technology is great to help isolate audio of me to the person i'm talking to vs. hearing people in the background. This is a great headset that isn't terribly heavy that won't make your ear sore after wearing all day.

I have been using Voyager headsets for years and am very satisfied. It is comfortable to wear and after I got used to it I sometimes forget that I have it on. The ear piece sits against your ear instead of being inserted into your ear canal so it doesn't cause discomfort when being worn for long periods. A key feature that makes this headset indispensable to me is the noise canceling boom microphone. If I am driving or in a noisy area most other headsets I have tried pick up all of the other noise in the room or car and it is hard for other people to hear me. The microphone on this headset filters out noises that are not as loud as me and filters them out. I don't even have to turn the radio off. Fully charged the battery lasts for several hours of talk time (it says seven hours but I've never had it last that long). The battery charges quickly so you won't be without he headset for hours if the battery does run out. Something that is convenient for this headset is that you can connect it to a computer and customize settings that don't work for you. In my case the sensor that determines if you are wearing the headset (and switches the conversation back to the phone mic/speaker) gets annoying when the headset gets bumped. The Plantronics software allows you to turn this, and several other features, off if you prefer. The Voyager is durable and comes with multiple ear pieces to insure a comfortable fit. If your ear piece wears out replacements aren't expensive. Durable does not mean it doesn't wear out. I normally have to replace my headset after a year and a half because the rubber on the back piece wears away. This might not affect most people. I have the same problem with eyeglasses as well.

Excellent sound quality and background noise suppression. Very comfortable to wear for extended time. Good battery life. Easy to use. Pictographic directions could be better. My experience with this product was good enough that I recommended it to my wife who is happy with this product also.

Great - Use included spongy accessory for earpiece

At first I wore the earpiece without the spongy cover that goes over the clear rubber part that is inserted into my ear. It was extremely uncomfortable, even almost painful for a moment after only just a few hours of wear. Finally I remembered there were extra parts in the box and the spongy piece that fits over the rubber piece made all the difference. They even include a smaller rubber/sponge cover set inside. The sound quality is very good, provided there is a good connection between both parties, does a good job to block out background noises for my callers so they can hear my voice best. The pricepoint was initially more than I wanted to spend, more than double my Jabra 25. But the Jabra 25 gave me so many problems with constantly having to readjust the earpiece and it falling out or getting caught in my hair. The Plantronics fits snugly around my ear and I almost never have to fuss with it or re-adjust it while on my walks. One negative: at one point my earpiece told me I had 4 hours left of talk-time, and then only less than an hour later it needed recharging. To be fair, when I first opened the box, I was able to use the earpiece immediately and it needed its first charge. I would like to see it go through a few more charge cycles to see how well it holds its charge. But I don't think I will return the earpiece.

The Voyager Legend Bluetooth Headset by Plantronics is a throwback look and feel for the over the ear Bluetooth enthusiasts. It produces great sound, with clear conversations both directions. It offers the convenience of either left or right ear usage, fast charging, and noise-canceling mic. I found this Bluetooth to be hard to wear as it always felt like it was going to fall off my ear as it loosely fit and did not have real way to tighten the fit for my needs. Due to the fit, I felt that the sound was less than ideal since the speak kept pulling away from my ear as the unit moved. Finally, this design is a bit retro as it has a throwback feel/look to the early 2010's. I am not sure I would want to be seen wearing it outside of my car or working in my garage. Just my personal thought. Only 7 hours of battery life seems low for the current industry standards and for the size of the earpiece. PROS - Reputable Brand and Quality - Sound quality is great - Noise-cancelling makes for easy two-way conversations - Quick charging (about 1 hour for my use) CONS - Design seems dated, but will have an audience - Fit is questionable. I would not use this product in an active setting for fear of it falling off. - Battery life is too short for the current trends of 8-20 hours as standard for Bluetooth products depending on earbuds or headphone. This product will have a place for certain consumers. It doesn't meet my personal usage needs however, so I would not personally recommend it.

Hello! Thank you for your honest review on our Voyager Legend headset, however, we are sorry to hear you were not able to find a comfortable and secure fit. While we thrive for our headset to fit everyone, we understand that one size doesn't fit all. With this in mind we include 3 different ear tip sizes for a better fit. Small (89037-01), Medium (89037-02) and Large (89037-03). If you find the product too uncomfortable for normal use we strongly recommend that you consider using a headset with a different wearing style. Please note that our intention is to provide the highest quality products to our customers and we thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will forward your comments and feedback to our team for future consideration when developing new products and accessories. An excellent noise cancelling headset; my go-to for use in the city, or in noisey indoor settings. It has 7 hours of battery life and is very comfortable to wear. This unit replaced my Planronics M90 which is no longer available.

    All Day Comfort

I got back into wearing a Bluetooth ear piece a little over a year ago and I love being hands free! Because of my occupation, I need to be connected all day, every day. So I am wearing my ear piece a lot. I started with ear buds but that only lasted a month because I couldn't stand having something stuck inside my ear all the time. I then went with the Jabra Talk 45, which is a great device but after wearing it for so long it became uncomfortable. I decided to try the Plantronics Legend, even though I wasn't too crazy about the idea of the thing behind my ear or the look of the mic. Man am I glad I did, this thing really is all day comfort for me! Even though I've only had it a month I can tell it's not going to bother me like others do. I don't even notice that it's there. It has all very good features. I sometimes work in noisy spaces and don't have any trouble hearing or being heard. I really like that you can answer or ignore with your voice. And I love the magnetic charger - no more trying to fiddle with the micro connector! I am very active with my work and I haven't ever had it feel like it was going to fall out. I am so happy that I purchased the Voyager Legend.

After two weeks of use, think this unit very good, but not perfect. For calls it's as loud as you need it to be, I can hear everybody. Other units seem to modulate calls so I have trouble hearing, this one does not so volume control is very good. Also, people hear me well even w/a fair amount of background din. Unit is comfortable for all day use. Battery life is just as advertised, nothing more. The only reason it's not 5 stars is the charging. The magnetic charger is very finicky, it has to be 'just right' for it to charge. So 4 of 5 from me. Recommend.

    Okay for intermittent use

I purchased this headset after the Insignia one I had owned for years finally quit working. I was hoping that, since this product was almost three times the cost as my previous one, the quality would be a lot better. Let's start with the pros: This headset is very comfortable to wear. I appreciate the included foam pads to put over the gel piece that goes in the ear. It helps keep the device clean and adds comfort. Though it seems bulky in your hand, after a few minutes I could barely notice I was wearing it! The headset seems to be built quite well. There were no loose pieces and it felt like it could take a little bit of a beating. The microphone and earpiece are easy to move but not too easy to the point of moving on their own. Finally, the outgoing call quality is excellent. I had someone tell me that it sounded like I was right next to them. The noise canceling is fairly decent at blocking out moderate gusts of wind. Now, the cons: The battery life, with continued use (constant phone call), is less than six hours. I expected with a much bulkier device than what I had before that I would have equal or better battery life. My previous device would last for over nine hours of continued use. The incoming call quality is quite poor for the price. My device was never further than my back pocket, so there should have been no connectivity issues. All calls that were outgoing/received were "HD" calls with my carrier, so the quality should have been next to perfect. However, consistently, it sounded like I was listening to an AM radio. My recommendation is that if one is using this device for indoor, intermittent use AND you aren't bothered by "okay" call quality, this device will work fine for you. However, if you are consistently on the phone throughout the day (more than six hours) and you prefer excellent sound quality, I'd recommend looking at other options.

Ive been a fan of the Voyager product for years but it seems since Plantronics purchased Polycom the quality has gone down. The Plantronics version was much more robust. This one feels cheap and has a rocker switch for the volume. I occasionally have to restart the headset as people on the other say I sound far away. When it works it wors though. Good noise canceling though occasionally it blocks the highs of my voice and I have to repeat myself. Battery life is good so far. Overall a meh headset but I am not sure if there is a better option to suggest unless you can find a pre Poly Voyager legend.
