This game is highly addictive. There are surprises everywhere. Sometimes this requires beating a level again (and again) to find all the fun surprises. Gameplay wise, it's truly what a call a gamer's game bc it requires dedication and a general sense of exploration. It also comes with Mellow Mode that makes it easier for younger ones to play. The Poochy levels can get challenging but are cute. Note: Collect all the flowers to get the special level (egg shaped). I would have to agree that graphics on the Wiii U is much nicer. But hey, no complaints bc it's pretty darn close to the Wii U version given the hardware difference. One of my favorite aspects of this game is Yoshi Theater. There are 31 clips of the three Yoshi's (green, blue, and pink) along with (mis)adventures of Poochy. It's also equipped with short little quizzes at the end to test your observation skills too.They are just too adorbs. This is a wonderful and well put together game. I'll definitely be unlocking all the goodies.

This game is a little on the easy side but is definitely very fun and could be challenging to collect everything. This is the definitive version of Yoshi's Woolly World but if you have the original, it probably wouldn't be worth it unless you really want the new amiibo unlocks, drawing your own Yoshi and Poochy challenges. amiibo is fantastic quality and a bargain in this bundle!

This was a great buy. I was kinda glad I didn't buy the Wii U version until I waited for it to go on sale, but then this version was announced. From what I heard, the levels were a little different from the Wii U version due to its portability. But they also added extra Poochy levels, stop motion shorts, and amiibo compatibility. Overall, great game with tons of extra.

I so enjoyed Yoshi's New Island that I could hardly wait for this game. It did not disappoint. I even feel like Yoshi moves a little more smoothly in this game. I did order the version that came with the Poochy Amiibo, though I wasn't sure exactly what that would add to the game. I don't use him a LOT, but he does help by taking out some enemies, and you can ride him across spikes, and he can help you reach high places. It's also a fun side challenge to try to collect all the flowers, hearts, yarns and red coins in each level. Additionally, there's levels just for Poochy, one per world, where you collect beads (and other missions per level) as well as a Poochy Gold Rush. So the game is nice and immersive and fun! I have about 20 hours into it and like it a lot.

I bought this for my 7 year old little sister for her 2DS. I was a little hesitant thinking it might be a little too complicated for someone her age, but pulled the trigger anyway. I was happy to find out that there is 'Mellow Mode' that really makes things easy and it's perfect for kids or anyone looking for a simple play through. The Yarn Poochy amiibo that comes bundled with the game is awesome too. All in all its a nice pickup.

This game is great, very relaxing and fun. Can even be a bit of a challenge if you're looking to collect everything (amiibo costumes too xP)

I purchased this game knowing it had a relaxed version which is terrific if one isn't inclined to setting the goals in a speedy manner. It's programmers really took the time to immerse a novice gamer and give them opportunities to become improved! The colors and textures are brilliant plus the amibo gives the gamer a terrific boost. Thanks!

We already had Yoshi's Woolly World for the Wii U, but my son wanted this for his Nintendo 3ds. He loves the Poochy Amiibo! This game is slightly different than the Wii U game. You don't actually have to collect yarn like in the other game. You have the mini Poochy dogs that follow you around and you can aim them at anything to shoot yarn.

If you already have it for the Wii U like I did, it may not be worth rebuying unless you want a portable version. But I highly recommend it. The levels themselves are somewhat easy, but collecting everything is quite challenging. It's a lot of fun and I've enjoyed my time with it thoroughly. It still looks fantastic on the portable console.

Enjoyed yoshi on wii u was surprised this was on 3ds. The included poochy amiibo goes well with our other yarn yoshi's.

I found it easier to invest time into this version of the game over the Wii U version. Maybe due to the face that i can take the game anywhere i want, or maybe because this game just makes sense to be in the palms of your hand. The amiibo that came with it is also very nice and I was happy to ad it to my collection

I don't have a Wii U and when the original Woolly world came out I was so bummed I couldn't play it. I was beyond excited when I found out it was being released on the DS! It is wonderful! You'll probably want to get the Poochy amiibo though because it really helps.

Poochy is one of my favorite amiibos of all time. The game is great; so great that I got the 3ds version even though I already have the Wii U version. Mildly recommended if you already have the game on Wii U, but a must-own if this is your first copy of this game.

Similar to Mario Maker 3DS, this game came from WiiU. It is an excellent port and has all of the fun features from the WiiU version and more. The amiibo with it is also precious and the game is superb. A fun action-adventure plat-former for all.

Yoshi's Wooly World for the 3DS is just as charming as the version on the Wii U. The graphics aren't as great but Poochy and his cuteness as well as the portability is the reason to buy. If you own the game on the Wii U and beat it, then just buy the Amiibo separate. But, if you never got around to the Wii U version, then don't hesitate to buy and play this one. It's great portable platforming goodness.

I originally played this game on the Wii U, and loved it. Now I can play the same game with added features on the go on my 3DS. It's the same quality game but portable. Definitely recommended!

This game is a blast and the look and feel of it is wonderful. Poochie (the rockin' dog) is yarn yoshi's best friend and this comes with a yarn Poochie amiibo! It's a win-win purchase.

I have been waiting for this game for months and rushed out first thing to buy it on release day. It is a really fun game, it is challenging at times but easy for the most part so kids will really enjoy it. The controls are easy to learn, and the gameplay is smooth. This is a multi level adventure game in the style of Super Mario. In mellow mode, Yoshi is helped by 3 adorable little puppies that show you where all the hidden items are. There is also a regular (classic) mode that will let you find everything on your own. I really enjoy playing this game, I think anyone that is a fan of the WiiU version or a fan of Super Mario will really enjoy it!

I bought this as birthday gift for my daughter's boyfriend who is a Nintendo game fan and he absolutely loved it. The amiibo is so cute and the game is fun too!

Easily one of the best Yoshi's Island themed games, but it's a questionable purchase if you have the WiiU version. Of course, the graphics take a hit, but play is perfectly intact from the console. If you love platformers and you want something on the go by Nintendo, this is the one to get if you already haven't played 3D Land.
