Popsockets are one of the most popular phone grips out there and the latest I got for my phone takes the functionality to a newer level. And they were able to do this without compromising any of the original’s usability. For starters, the “Popgrip” is still as great as it was. It offers so much control over the phone, especially for larger phones. It can be bent in all directions to either hold the phone at an angle, or prop it up in different orientation. The popped out length is useable, and when popped, even though it creates a small pedestal effect, it’s still useable. I found that this extra part does not easily snag when I’m storing my phone in my pocket. The integrated kick-out stand is a great addition to an already super useful product. It easily flips out to prop my phone up for hands-free viewing of videos, video calls, or browsing. The fact that it works in both portrait and landscape orientations adds to its versatility. The key selling point is its MagSafe compatibility. It snaps on and off MagSafe-enabled devices with ease, which is excellent for those who frequently use wireless charging or other MagSafe accessories. The magnetic connection is quite strong, providing confidence that the PopGrip won't detach unintentionally during normal use. This magnetic attachment also allows for optimal placement on the back of your phone, so it provided a very good balance in my hand during day to day use. I have been using it with my Magsafe-case, and so far it hasn’t detached unless I really wanted it to. For generic phones/cases, there’s an adhesive-based adapter ring that “makes” the surface Magsafe-like, so it’s nice to have. However I’m always wary of such solutions as you never know if and when the adhesive gets loose. Overall, the new Popsocket with the kick-out popgrip is a nifty solution that’s useful for everyday use, especially for larger phones. It’s not the cheapest out there, but it’s well-built and so versatile.

I've been using the PopSockets for over 7 years, and honestly, there's nothing on the market that comes close. I tried the rings. I tried the straps and nothing is as comfortable as a popsocket. As my phones got larger every time I upgraded, I found it increasingly difficult to manage holding them comfortably. This was the only product that allowed me to get a secure grip on my phone. The expanding kickstand is a great bonus, making it perfect for watching videos or hands-free use. I feel like they are incredibly long-lasting and an affordable investment, I only buy one per phone and have even refused them across phone cases, they adhesives are amazing. First and foremost, the grip it provides is fantastic. If you’re someone who frequently uses your phone with one hand, this PopSocket is a game-changer. I used to feel like I was always on the verge of dropping my phone, but now I can comfortably hold it with one hand, even when texting or scrolling through social media. The expandable grip is ergonomic, and it makes handling my phone so much easier, especially for extended use. The built-in expanding kickstand is another feature I love. Whether I’m watching videos, making video calls, or following a recipe while cooking, the kickstand holds the phone securely in both portrait and landscape modes. It saves me from constantly propping my phone against random objects, and it’s surprisingly sturdy for something so compact. It easily pops out and clicks back into place, making it super convenient. As someone who loves taking photos, I also appreciate how much more stable my phone feels when I’m snapping a picture. It makes getting the perfect angle a lot easier, and I no longer have to worry about my phone slipping out of my hand while I’m trying to capture a shot. It's durable, reliable, and I can't imagine using a phone without one. I am thrilled with how much this little gadget has improved my overall phone experience! After using it for a couple of weeks, I can confidently say this is one of the most practical and versatile phone accessories I’ve owned. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my PopSocket purchase. It enhances the usability of my phone in so many ways—whether I’m gripping it more comfortably, using the kickstand for hands-free activities, or simply appreciating the minimalist design. If you’re on the fence about getting one, I highly recommend it. It’s a small investment that adds huge value to your everyday phone use.

I’m able to use this to hold my phone… But right now it’s not letting me charge it on my Apple charger… I have to use my plug-in charger in order to charge my phone. I may be returning it if they can’t get it to work properly with my other charger.

As the title indicates, I love this PopSocket! I have resisted using PopSockets in the past despite the obvious benefits, but now that I can just attach it to my MagSafe case magnetically. It's also a super strong magnet, and I haven't had any issues with it coming off during normal use despite using it extensively already. It's also very ergonomic and works just like other PopSockets. It also have a very high quality constructions, it is a very robust material and has survived multiple drops already. The magnetic connection is so strong, it also allows you to open the "kickstand" without pulling the PopSocket off the back of the device or case. The stand also works equally well horizontally or vertically. Overall, I love this PopSock with the kick-out. It's well made, has a super strong magnetic grip and the kick-out kickstand is super strong as well. It also has a low profile but still high quality magnetic hinge for the kick-out. The black color is also super sleek and hasn't chipped despite multiple drops.

Great when it works. Broke within 2 weeks of using. So total waste of money

The PopSockets Kick-Out Magnetic Grip & Stand with Adapter Ring for Mobile Phones is the perfect Popsocket! It does everything I need it to do to make handling my phone easier. If you are not familiar with Popsockets, generally they attach to the back of your phone in some way (magnetically, with adhesive, etc.) and when you pull on it, it extends so that you are able to grip it and thereby hold your phone securely with one hand. This particular one attaches magnetically to a Mag-safe compatible phone. If you don't happen to have a Mag-Safe case, that's okay. They provide an adapter ring that you can put on your case that will allow this Popsocket to work, as long as you have a Mag-Safe compatible phone. It securely attaches to the back of your phone with a snap when it hits that sweet spot. When the grip isn't extended, it will sit fairly flat on the back of your phone so you are able to slip it into your pocket, purse, etc. This one even has a hinge on it - something I have not seen on a Popsocket before. With the hinge, you are able to open the Popsocket and swing it to use it as a very secure stand for your phone. Depending on where you place the hinge when you attach it to your phone, you can have a portrait or landscape stand. And even better, for my purposes, with the hinge wide open, I am able to attach my phone to my in-car magnet that I use to hold my phone to use maps, etc. while driving. I am also able to attach it to my mag-safe charger without removing it from the phone with the hinge wide open. If I do this though, I do have to make certain it makes complete contact with the charger. It is easy enough to remove, but why do that if I don't have to? I really do love this and the black color goes great with my white iPhone. It makes it easy to hold my phone, even for an extended time, comfortably. I would definitely highly recommend this PopSockets Kick-Out Magnetic Grip & Stand with Adapter Ring for anyone with a Mag-safe compatible phone. The ease of use and quality are top-notch!

I have always been hesitant to get a finger grip for my iPhone. This is mainly because in the past when I've used cases with a finger grip built-in, the finger grip prevented me from attaching the case to other mounts, like the one on the dashboard of my car. And then some of the cases with built-in grips added a lot of bulk and weight in order to also have kickstand functionality. So as much as I enjoyed having a finger grip, I had stopped using them. Until now. The PopSocket MagSafe Round Kick-Out PopGrip Cell Phone Grip & Stand brings back all the benefits of having a finger grip with very few, if any, downsides. First, the pop-up mechanism that PopSocket popularized is still a delight to use. It pops out nicely but also stays tucked in properly when not needed. Second, instead of an adhesive, this grip is MagSafe compatible. You simply attach it magnetically to your phone or suitable case. The grip stays on firmly without any rotation or loss of attachment. If I need to remove the grip so I can attached the phone to my dashboard mount, a firm tug is all that's needed. The unit comes with an adapter ring in case your phone or case is not MagSafe compatible. Third, the grip is cleverly designed with a hinge that lets you "unfold" the grip and use it as a kick stand. My one minor gripe is that the once attached, the ring does not rotate. So to change the kickstand from landscape to portrait aspect, I have to remove the grip and reattach it placing the hinge in the appropriate place. Not a big deal. All in all, this is a great grip.

The PopSocket MagSafe Round Kick-Out PopGrip is a great new spin on a classic design. Note: I tested this with an iPhone 16 Pro Max and an official iPhone MagSafe case. The PopSocket is made of a number of materials, including a durable plastic, rubber (the telescoping portion), and metal. It feels very sturdy and I wouldn’t have any concerns around regularly using it with an expensive phone. The big feature of this iteration of the PopSocket is the ability for it to fold down into a stand. Previous versions of the PopSocket allowed you to use it as a stand in landscape (horizontal), but the fold down functionality in this one allows it to stand in portrait (or vertically). It holds the phone up well and I had no concerns around the device being secure. The mechanism itself is easy and intuitive enough to use—I simply pull the PopSocket in the direction of the hinge and it pulls down. Since the PopSocket is round I initially kept just putting it on in a way that the hinge wasn’t facing the correct direction, but I realized that the hinge is visible when i put it on so as long as I pay attention while I do so, it was easy enough to get it aligned correctly. Overall, if you are looking for a new PopSocket and you think you’d appreciate having a kickstand, this is a great option. If you already have a PopSocket (and a collection of the interchangeable tops) I think this would be a worthwhile upgrade if you’re also looking for a stand.

OMG…. I have been a MagSafe and PopSocket user for years. I love these products. But one issue I had was I could stand the phone up in landscape mode on my desk but I could never stand it up vertical (for facetime or video calls). Well Problem Solved!!!! Genius, I absolutely love this round kick out. EASY to install…. If you do not have a magsafe phone or case there is an adapter you can apply to your phone or case to make it. I love that once it is connected to my magsafe phone it feels very sturdy. It collapses nearly flat so you hardly notice it is the\re. It is easy to open and expand the pop socket for holding or to align it in the exact right angle for viewing, You can use the phone in landscape or portrait mode with ease. And I LOVE that the unit swivels to help you achieve the perfect position. It feels well made and should last a long time. I love that it feels nearly flat when it is collapsed and in my pocket yet sturdy to hold my phone up when I want to set it down for viewing or hands free use.

Pop sockets are great, I love having one on my phone because it really helps reduce the fatigue on my thumbs and wrist when trying to hold my phone while laying on the couch or in bed. However, there haven't been any MagSafe ones so I was stoked to try this one. Aesthetically, it is pretty nice. A stainless steel magnet encased in a durable hard plastic and a comfortable rubber grip. The Magnet also comes out and folds at a 90 degree angle so you can adjust your phone as a kickstand. However, the magnet is very strong on it. It can be a bit cumbersome to try to get it on and off. My phone already has a magsafe magnet ring on it, so I did not need to use the included adhesive magnet that they provide, which you can use to tape to the back of your phone so the pop socket will attach. That and the fact this thing is $35 is why I have to give it 4 stars. A regular pop socket? $5-8, one with a magnetic ring on a small hinge? $35. That just doesn't add up to me. And the fact that in order to charge your phone you have to always be struggling to remove the magnet... but still, a solid product overall.
