Originally I was using the pop socket holder that has a sticky backing on it. It worked great for a road trip in a rental car that had a plastic dash board. It was very stuck in place but still came off easily when i needed to remove it and left no residue. I purchased another for my Cadillac SRX but it absolutely did not stick whatsoever to my leather dashboard. So this brought me to purchasing the pop socket holder for the air vent. It works fine. Holds the phone. I'm giving it four stars out of picky-ness. The holder does not attach to the vent strongly enough. It takes two hands to place the phone in the holder so that the holder does not move or come loose during placement. So that's annoying. Once the phone is placed in the holder though I have not had any issues with it moving or falling out. But if you are driving and want to remove the phone and then put it back one handed, if you do not do it gently enough it will turn or move on the vent. Overall I'm pleased with it but I still liked how the holder with the sticky backing worked better and wished it would have worked on my leather dashboard.

It was very easy to attach and use. Holds my phone very well. Much better than sticky cell phone mounts, which tend to fall off and leave a residue.

I ordered a mount that would adhere to a flat surface only to find out that I could not find a flat surface to use it. Ordered this and it mounted and hang my phone in a perfect position. When it gets warm and I need to use the AC, I may not like it but it will be months until I have to use AC.

The phone holder that stuck to the windsheild, Kept falling off. this has worked quite well to clip it to the vent. Only problem, the PopSocket on my phone is off center and overtime it flips around to that. Annoying when using maps.

I used to have the kind that sticks to surfaces and while it worked fine, in the car, there wasn't really a good spot for it. This one on the other hand works as expected and the ability to change vents as needed is perfect.

Works perfectly!! It really helps me to be handsfree in the car!! I don’t really recommend using it if you have a heavier case though (lifeproof) because the pop socket falls off

Loved the mount and loved the pop socket until it started falling off my phone. Not Best Buy’s problem though, will likely buy another socket.

I got a new car and was not able to stick the mount on my dash like I had in my other car, and I found this and I am just so glad.

The sticky holder wouldn’t stay on my textured dash so I bought this instead. Perfect!!!

The popmount was decent, but not great. The connector i had purchased to connect my phone lost its stickiness and hence i couldnt use this pop socket for a longer time

The vent style is okay but in the heat it falls off

The mount does not support the weight of the device and it keeps coming out and has fallen a couple of times.

Got this not only this didn’t work but the one on the phone it sucks came off a week later. I don’t recommend this at all

This would be great if the pop up would actually stick. It doesn’t so therefore this doesn’t hold the phone. Waste of money

This is not helpful since the PopSocket will not stick to the phone.
