So this thing truly comes in handy. I absolutely love how I can clip it into my vent and just go. My phone is able to sit where I can see my gps.

Definitely a smart way to go it you have a pop socket and you need something simple to hold your phone. Haven't had any problems!

Easy enough to mount and unmount, sturdy and not bulky at all. You can barely see it. I would recommend this product.

It functions exactly as expected. Popsocket slides easily into the holder, and the mount fits tightly into our Nissan ventilation system. If you have too big of a phone, it will block the airflow almost completely through that vent, but that is no fault of the product. In the future I might rethink how I mount my phone considering it's size compared to the vent size, but if I decide to keep the same mounting system I would not hesitate purchasing this again.

Popsockets are a nifty little gadget. The vent mount is a handy way to keep your phone steady in the car. I like the portability most of all. Before this came out, I had to use the permanent sticky mount. With the vent mount, I can easily place my phone for use as a GPS tool. I also like that my child can mount his phone on a vent on long trips to watch movies. Of course, you block a bit of cold a/c air, but the hands-free benefit outweighs the inconvenience of closing a vent.

Simple to install if you don't have thick vent slats. I actually have one car that does and one that doesn't. Trying to install this on the one with thick vent slats required so much effort it ended up breaking the bottom one I first tried. Eventually I was able to get it installed but it took a good bit of effort. Even though the back clamp is meant to be tight, it ends up sliding to one side or the other if there is a significant weight shift while driving so you may have to adjust it quite a bit if you're watching something while riding in a car (DON'T WATCH AND DRIVE!) Additionally it doesn't have a way to adjust for the slats sagging in cars that have angled vents. The weight of the phone makes the unit droop down. Overall, it's a good product that does the job it's meant to do but it could use a few improvements to be perfect.

Not much of a tech person, so this was something I would never consider, until my nephew showed me he uses it in his car. I normally keep my cell phone in my center console so I don't look at it while driving. However, I am able to see an incoming call (when I forget to connect my phone). I won't text, but it helps me to not miss a call or pull over to reply if a text comes in

Perfect for my dash. It doesn't take up much room & works with my pop socket, which most holders don't.
