This GPS mount is a bit awkward to use but works very well once the unit is in place. It's a lot better than the suction cup.

I have wanted to get this dashmat for awhile but never did because of the price. Found it on a major sale here at BestBuy.com so I didnt hesitate. Item is smaller than I expected but its a good size for a gps. nice sleek thin design so you dont have a big bulky thing sittin on your dash. item is pliable and quality is very good. It stays where you put it and doesnt mess up your dash.

This portable mount is ingenious! very easy to set up. The only drawback is the clip onto which the GPS unit goes. You have to place the unit into the clip prior to driving, it is very sturdy. So there is no worrying about the unit dislodging itself during travel. But actually getting the unit ON the mount can be a little cumbersome. Nonetheless, a very good product.

This is the perfect device to keep your GPS in place without damaging anything on your car!

I have a small car. I don't like to have things stuck to the window. I was able to use this easily and it kept the standard mount off the window.

Bought this instead of using the suction cup mount - that will loose suction and drop your GPS to the floorboards or center console. I marked 4 out of 5 due to the marks left behind on my dash, like a stain but seems to come off with Windex, so far. If unable to purchase the mount with sandbag, then this is probably your second best bet to purchase - unless you enjoy seeing suction cup rings left on your windscreen after removal. BE WARNED - the bottom surface is a Hair-Lint-Dirt-Gravel magnet.

I like it so much better than the suction cup type. No icky marks on the windshield. Stays where you put it!

Primarily use this mount on my desk for when running updates on my Garmin. If you have a deep dash this may be the mount for you.

This mount is perfect to use instead of the suction cup on the windshield that keeps falling off, also keeps it closer so you can reach it easier

this product really works much better than the device included with the gps. This does not fall from the dash.

Works great, just use a non oily interior cleaner or alcohol on the dash first. It will not move at all.

This holder is the best. Its perfect. Sits on your dashboard and doesnt move at all. A must have for anyone with a portable GPS

This is much better than the one that comes with the GPS. I never moves and is adjustable. Would recommend this for anyone.

We bought this thinking the suction cup mount that came with the Garmin unit would not work in our van. We used this product for a while but it is bulky and where we had to put it, it was difficult to reach. Then I made a little modification to the dashboard of the van and was able to use the suction cup mount that came with the Garmin unit. So we really didn't need to buy this product. If you need to use it, it will work but, try to make the mount that comes with Garmin GPS work first.

I replaced my old bean bag mount with this one. It doesn't slide around cold or hot. Does what it's supposed to.

The Mount works great for the type of gps I have. Holds it very steady during road trips.
