This mount is the best alternative to the suction mount. It doesn't slide like the bean bag mount. It stays put even on sudden stops.

This product Lives up to my expectations. It has not failed to hold my Garmen to my dash yet. You can put it on any relative flat surface. Good job Garmin.

If you have a window mount that keeps falling off, or a sloped windshield making it hard to reach, this is the answer. It sits on the top of the dash and is very stable, and usually will bring the unit closer to you when driving. It's easy to remove if your navigator wants to use one of the Garmin features while driving, you don't have to detach anything, just pick up the whole assembly.

I already had one like this for my car and after watching my husbands gps drop off his holder I decided to get him one that I knew would work. This is perfect.

we have not had to attach this to our truck since it is heavy enough to stay in a little section on that dash that keeps it in place.

Out of all the options of a mount for your Garmin - this is the best aftermarket product I've found. I use it for both business and personal and change it from vehicle to vehicle often. The only product that is able to keep up with my schedule - I was so tired of the windshield suction cup mount failing while my car was parked.

Bought this for my Dad's 6" Garmin. Didn't want to use windshield mount cause of its size. Dash mount fits the bill. Stays in place and easy to remove unit.

I have a Garmin 52LM GPS which has been all that I could wish for as I rarely leave my local area, maybe 3 times a year. Not having this mount caused frustration as I would have to have it on the passenger seat. I have a 2009 VW New Beetle and trying to keep the GPS on the dash is a is fodder for a stand up comedian. This was on sale at Best Buy and is "a quality piece of kit" as my British relatives would say. For $25.00 my frustration is gone for good.

Better then the ring marks on the window. Coating on bottom keeps it from moving and makes it easy to put the GPS exactly ehere you want it

Purchased with my Garmen to secure my device on my dashboard. Very useful. Does not slide around, even when going around curves. Keeps the Gramen out of my way when driving as it is not on my windshield.

Works well, better than the suction cup mount. It holds the GPS at a more convenient distance from the driver and where it gets less sunlight.

Bought for xm radio. Sits on dash has not moved or shifted from spot. I go down a lot of rough roads. I am impressed
