Really hold well compared to my old bean bag style it is replacing

Got this for my daughter who was frustrated with her old mount. She likes this one much better. It fit her Garmin and doesn't slide around the dashboard and it doesn't leave any indication/residue that it was on the dash, either.

Honestly I was skebtable after taking this stand out of the package. For years I grew tired of the standard window mount that came with the GPS loosing its bond to the glass. This Garmin stand has been great. The bottom molds to any car dash and no matter the driver will stay in position with even a 7" screen.

The flex dash mount allows me to put my GPS any where on the dash and it stays put without obstructing my view while driving. When I reach my destination I can simply pick it up and bring it in. Much better than the suction cup method.

Works great with my dash cam 35. Steady and holds the camera well.

I have had the bean bag mount for years. I purchased this one for traveling because it so so much lighter. I found that is is not only lighter then the bean bag mount it actually stays in place much better. Does not slide and contours to the dash. Great item.

Went to Charleston recently and forgot my mount for my Garmin so I went to Best Buy and found exactly what I needed to mount my Garmin that sits on the dash. It cost about $15 and the mounting arm conveniently closes for a thin profile so I could pack it in my carry on luggage. Was a life saver for me and now I prefer it over my bean bag dash mount.

Great mount! Super sticky!! Can drive hard and never falls off

I bought this on sale, and love it. Now I wish I should have bought three of them since I use 3 GPS. Not like suction cup to window, it does not fall off from window nor obstructing my view to outside. Easy to remove from dashboard when I do not use.

Suction cups and I do not get along. This mount for my GPS has been a lifesaver to sit on my dash without sliding around. If the bottom gets dirty, a simple wipe takes care of it and it sticks again.

It works as advertised, just attach your Garmin to the mount and just sit it any where on your car dasboard and it will stay in place. Very easy to use, and much better than perminately sticking the round plasic disk that comes with the Garmin in the box.

I bought this Garmin friction mount to hold my Garmin Drivesmart 70 LMT (7 inch screen). It was an okay mount but it made me too nervous when I was driving around with it. I was always worried that the Garmin GPS unit was going to fall over especially when I hit bumps or potholes. The whole base would rock side to side a little too much for me to be comfortable with. The base of this Friction mount is weighted and can be shaped to the contours of your dashboard and the bottom of the base has a sticky silicone material to keep the base from sliding off of your dashboard. But to me, the weight of the base isn't heavy enough to stabilize the 7-inch Garmin models. I'm sure it will be fine for the 5 and 6-inch models but for the 7-inch models I would recommend the Garmin Mount that has a beanbag base. See my review on that base.
