I’ve only had this for a short time but here is my observations. First off the kit comes with two batteries and a set two battery covers for fitting original Xbox one controllers and a set of two covers for newer Xbox series S/X controllers. I am using both and they fit perfect no issues. The batteries fit very snug just make sure you have them turned the right direction before you push them in. They seem to last pretty good I haven’t actually timed them but I get a few gaming sessions on each fully charged battery. I still have and use an original XBOX battery that comes with a charge cable that I bought years ago and still going strong. I believe it actually last a little longer when fully charged than the ones in this kit but not by a tremendous amount. I like having a base to set these on to charge instead of using a cable that usually wears out the micro usb port on the controller over time but there a are a few negatives to this base charger. (1) My biggest complaint is that when charging your controller the light on the base is orange and is suppose to turn white to let you know when it’s fully charged…. BUT IT DOESNT… it stays orange even after it’s fully charged. I tried both batteries and charge slots to see if it was just a bad slot but both were the same. You have to pick the controller up and put it back down on the charger then if it’s fully charged it turn white after it sits there a minute or two. So it does charge but you can’t tell when it’s fully charged until you perform this ritual each time. It does it on both slots so it’s kind of annoying. (2) I noticed that when I press the large XBOX button in the center of my controller to check my battery charge status that these batteries not show about 70% charged on the battery icon on the screen when they are fully charged. It’s not a big deal but just thought it was odd. My old battery shows a full battery when charged. (3) The controllers don’t naturally fall not the charge prongs you have to jiggle them into place to make sure the charger contacts are connected to make the orange light come on. I got this kit on BEST BUY PLUS MEMBERSHIP sale and had a reward certificate so I only paid about $6.50 for the kit so all in all a great deal even with the negatives. I don’t think I’d recommend for full price though I think you can find a better charge station that actually tells you when your batteries are ready for that much.

I've used a couple of different chargers for xboxes and have had issues with them. This particular charger works awesome! Controllers set right in and I've had zero issues with it.

I love the controller stand because it charges them like it says it should, but the reason I gave it three stars is because it doesn't charge them completely. I wait until the light on the stand turns white to show that they are fully charged, but when I turn on the controller to turn on my XBox, the battery icon on the top of the screen shows that it's still not fully charged. About 95% of the way there. But not 100%. I don't know if this is a defect, or if PowerA cuts it off earlyto keep from overheating or something. I just know the actual Microsoft Rechargeable batteries don't do that. And sometimes you have to fiddle with the controller to make sure it lines up with the prongs just right to charge it. Kind of irritates me. And sometimes, if it's not setting right, the yellow light will flash back and forth and I will have to go back and readjust it just to make sure it fits just right. It's very sensitive. I'm thinking about taking it back and buying actual rechargeable batteries that Microsoft makes. I like the stand, though. I just don't like those two quirks. They could seriously be a make or break thing. I would recommend that PowerA upgrades their design and makes a magnetic version very similar to the Dualsense controller charging station by Sony. And let the stand fully charge the battery.

Super convenient for keeping controllers charged and ready for gaming. Charges fast, comes with rechargeable battery packs, and the dock is sturdy with clear status lights. Way better than swapping AA batteries and saves time between sessions.
