Even if this product is from another maker other then Nintendo Has power from console no battery needed and The product has one of the best hassle free warranty for 2 years. So do not purchase Best buys coverage it over laps the original manufactures coverage. I had a few xbox controllers warranty and also one Switch remote covered and replaced. This is a must buy if your kids want and additional controllers
