    Best non-OEM controller out there

The controller works 99% flawlessly. It has great response, touch sensitivity, etc. It is basically an XBOX clone that works on the Switch (and better for it). Also, unlike other non-OEM Switch controllers, this one doesn't have the connecting issues and quirky pairing functions that they do. This one just requires syncing like any other controller (hold L+R together). It is also much cheaper than the Nintendo equivalent. The only reason it isn't perfect is that for whatever reason, it doesn't sync accurately with Pokemon for Switch (I haven't found any non OEM controllers that do). All in all, I find it a travesty that Nintendo doesn't include a more affordable controller with their system or at the very least, include an additional one with the set. And their "split the joy con controllers into two" solution is horrible and not effective.

My son wanted this as a secondary controller for his Nintendo Switch. It does the job but he prefers the original controller better. I think he wanted that secondary controller for me so we could play together, lol.....

There aren’t many options out there for Switch controllers, so I can’t complain too much. It works exactly as you’d think it would - it’s wireless, the batteries die pretty quickly, buttons are loud when pressed, and the controller is light. Doesn’t have a rumble feature. It’s OK - would spring for the more expensive model next time.

I needed a controller ASAP since I feel victim to the notorious joy on drift. I wasn’t sure about it since I like to get first party controllers usually but this is real nice. It synced right away felt good and was much cheaper than a pro controller. On top of that it has two extra buttons you can adjust on the fly. It’s real easy. Downside is it uses batteries which most don’t like but I use rechargeable batteries.

Needed extra remotes for multi player use. Bought this instead of forking +$100 on a new Switch control. Neutral look and works great. Feels better than the corded control we use for Player 3. I’d say the only set back are the batteries. We’ve had it for a month with moderate play and only needed to replace batteries once so far. However, I suspect with increased use it will start to deplete sooner. So I’d recommend rechargeable AA batteries with this. Good buy for the need overall.

we were in need of an additional controller, the fact that it has unique coloring avoids confusion and it is nearly impossible to tell any difference in function/speed/feel between it and the factory original.

The controller, though not of Nintendo brand has held up without issue in connectivity and feel. It is a bummer that it is battery operated and not chargeable, but at a 30 cost difference that is well worth it with my play time and style.

    Great Remote

Great remote for playing the Switch. The remotes that are included with the Switch are too small for my hands. I play Mario Party 8, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Splatoon with my kids and I just cant use the small remotes. There is no rumble or 'left/right' sensitivity. So if you turn the remote left or right it has no impact. I knew this going in and honestly prefer this option. Remote is light but is made well. I do wish it had a rumble feature, but again, I knew this was not an option when I purchased.

We can’t tell of there is some delay in this controller vs the controllers that are packaged with the Switch. Comfortable. Good build quality, as expected. Expensive, see if you can use a coupon or catch it on sale.

Got this on Christmas because the Original Pro Controller is just too expensive. I absolutely fell in love with this controller when i first got it. The design is simple, yet beautiful, it fits perfectly in my hands, and the gyro takes it to another level. Buying all the batteries was annoying, but it is easily one of the greatest controllers i have ever owned. One of the best Switch controllers on the market, just ask Youtube.

We enjoy this size controller, its good for me as I am an older dude who likes to play Mario and the included controllers with the Switch are cool, but this is better for functioning. Good deal!

As a dad I alway had issues playing with son due to controller size and this product allows better adult participation. While the controller was for son it really ends up more in dad’s hands and HE approves!

We bought one of each of the four skins - they are great replacements for malfunctioning joy-cons, and are easier for visiting holiday guests (who are new to Nintendo Switch) to figure out. Only minus is the amiibo-reading (NFC) functionality is not available on these, so if you use that in any games you will still need a controller/joy-con with that capability. Big Plus - they are very efficient, and last a long time between battery changes. For any family like ours with a tray of rechargeable AA batteries, these are a no brainer.

When I purchased the Switch console for my son, it was his first console, so he quickly adapted to the remotes that came with the Switch. I am an older gen of gamers who have gamer muscle memory using a different remote that looks and feels a lot like this one. This remote easily pairs with the Switch and it feels great in your hands. I recommend this remote over the stock Switch controllers.
