I went to Best Buy wanting a new controller with the intention of purchasing a Microsoft standard XBox One controller. But with the shortages, I found myself looking around the store for other options. This one caught my eye, but I was still reluctant. My experience with third party controllers over the years has been mixed at best, with most of the time being disappointed. However, I looked at it and after doing some quick research, decided to give it a try. I admit that I didn't expect much. I am very pleased to say that now after almost a month of use, I am extremely surprised. While it is not the Elite, it absolutely has the feel and responsiveness you want in a controller. In fact, this has become my go to controller for both my Xbox and PC. The sticks are very responsive and there are two longer replacements if you want to switch them out. The buttons have a good responsiveness, but I miss the "click" of the MS controllers. The triggers are customizable with three different settings. The rear paddles are a nice addition and also quite responsive. However, I found that I was not using them very often and removed them. When I first started using them, I wanted to program some macros. But, I have never been successful in programming more than just one button. The controller is sturdy and seems to be of good quality. (time will tell!) I don't mind the wired-only feature of the controller. Switching the sticks is simple with just a quick removal of the faceplate. In fact, I would love to be able to find some customized faceplates that I would be able to swap out on the controller. Like I said it at the beginning, a very pleasant surprise. I would definitely recommend it. Pros: Very responsive controller Thoughtful design considerations Joystick options come with the controller Customizable rear paddles Cons: Wired controller (but with a long, sturdy cord) Rear paddles don't program macros

Bought this for my brother-in-law. Its a nice little alternative to the elite. That said I honestly don’t see the point in spending the extra money when you can just purchase a regular xbox controller if you’re not going to use it to its full potential which means you should take a little time to get used to use the paddles which come in super handy.

It's an absolutely top-shelf controller. From build quality to materials to versatility, this controller is up there with the best in class offerings but doesn't share their enormous price tags. If you game on Xbox or PC, this is the controller you want to splash out for. Come up out of the realm of $20-$30 knockoffs that have lousy buttons and feel cheap and weird to use and get this one. You'll only regret it if you hate nice things.

bought it to use on my PC and it works great. the rings around the joysticks wear out pretty quick, but the buttons are all solid and the adjustable triggers is a nice thing to have. just make sure the game you're playing is receiving full input with the shortened trigger throw.. racing games aren't fun when you're maxed out at 45mph because your triggers aren't giving full input

Needed a new PRO style controller that had PADDLES and THUMBSTICKS with height options. Been through 2 MS Elite pads and did not feel that 160 dollars x2 was worth it again. Heard good things about the Power A Pro controller via youtube. SO FAR THIS IS A GREAT CONTROLLER! Feels great, responsive and I like the buttons better. THIS IS WIRED. Which I don't mind as I sit about 6ft away. The best part is that this pad is less than half the cost of the new ELITE 2 pads.

I bought this controller waiting for my Elite 2 controller to ship over the holidays. Little did I know, I ended up liking it better due to a defective open box elite 2. Pros: Face button are responsive from all angles and being able to use the longer analog stick on the right stick helps in competitive FPS games. Back paddles are a must have. Jump, crouch, reload, melee all without your thumbs leaving analogs. Trigger stops are a blessing for semi auto weapons in COD Warzone Yes its wired but I'm glad I don't have to worry about wireless latency, charging or disconnecting mid game. De-ttachble 10 ft cable works well and comes right off so your system doesn't get pulled with the wire. Very solid price and comes with free 1 year warranty from PowerA or easy replacement with Best Buy's purchasable warranty Con: Only runs wired. Aesthetic arguably not as good as Elite 2 Trigger stops don't read as full attenuation so in games where you drive, you need to move the trigger stop back to default to push down pedal for full speed. (Takes 1 second to physically throttle on controller) Not as grippy as Elite 2. This one has a rubber feel on the front and stipple rubber on the back. Reminiscent of the xbox one controller Mixed: Slightly Larger than Elite 2 and xbox series x/s controllers. As someone with average hands I find all these controllers equally comfortable Overall: highly recommended for competive games where you want extra buttons, responsive inputs and less latency especially at its price point. Seems to have better build quality and quality controller than even Microsoft's official Elite 1 and 2 controllers

I own two. They have outlived the xbox elite, razor wildcat, razor chroma, and I use them over a scuff (scuff disconnects wireless at random- not good for competitive stuff) These have features of all the high end controllers. Only draw back is the wired feature and a dog that can't hop over the line. They have survived countless 'yoinks' off the table and onto the floor so...rating maintained.

Not a fan of xbox controllers but this is a great bang for buck controller with paddles. They arent that cheap and can be pretty durable. I use the paddles pretty often and theyve held up for a few months now with no problems. Much better deal than those elite controllers

For the price I really think you can't beat it. Used both the elite series 2 and the razer wolverine ultimate. The PowerA holds it's own against both of those controllers, have used it pretty extensively for the past month and have had no issues with performance. Paddles are well spaced so no problems hitting the wrong button and thumb sticks are smooth with a good response. Only complaint I do have is the paddles can be easily taken off. While it's not a bad thing if you play aggressive or fidget a lot it's possible to pop one of the paddles off and it'll take a second to put it back on which sucks if your in the middle of a game. Overall well worth it for the price if you don't mind it being wired. Mapping is extremely easy but you won't get the configuration settings available with the series 2 on the xbox itself. 4.5/5 controller with only issue being weak magnet holder for the paddles allow it to be flicked/bumped off easily. Easiest way to solve this is to play calmly and don't spaz.

Bought the controller for Cold War since was the only option. All other xbox controllers were sold out at the time. But this is one of the best controllers I have ever used. Has good amount of weight, response time, and is customizable. Switching to this from a old xbox/ xbox one controller you will feel the difference and love it.

I've been playing with this controller for a little over a month now and have had no issues. The paddles took a little practice to get used to, but they make gameplay so much easier in fps games. Easily customizable and easy to clean. The only issue was a slight buzz when using coms, but that went away by playing with the mic monitoring setting.

Great alternative to an elite controller. Feels great, a little on the heavy side but that is because PowerA has weights in it to feel more premium. I would like the trigger stops to limit more but for this price point I think its a good buy.

Many similarities to the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller. Same build quality, swappable paddles, three setting hair triggers. Comes with a hard carrying case. Only downside is no wireless capability, but the included micro usb cable is braided and locks when connected to the controller. Highly recommended for $100 less than the Series 2.

Had it for a week before the left joystick started to move my character on its own. I also used the Xbox Elite controller series 1 for a year and PowerA Fusion Pro Controller felt good in the hands but not great as the Xbox Elite controller. The extra paddles one the PowerA controller felt a little better than the Elite controller. Both controllers are on the heavy. Dint use the extra joysticks comes with it because I use The Elite controller just for those extra paddles. All in all this PowerA Fusion Pro controller is a good controller and the price compare to the Xbox Elite series 1 controller is worth it.

Let me start this off by saying I am a controller snob. I ugrage my own a lot of times. I own both of the overly expensive pro series 1 and 2. Normally I would never buy an off brand controller, but i snagged this on the 15 days of gaming sale because for $31 out the door, so why not? Im very impressed with all you get and the quality. Now its no pro series 2 but even at normal prices its about half the cost. The paddles have a little play but they work. The trigger stops could be better but they function fine. I love the mag front being able to switch thumbsticks easily i think thats a great idea. But this is day one. We will see if it starts falling off. But by far the best thing they did was put a quick disconnect in the cord so you dont yank your console or pc or monitor. So if you dont want to spend thw money on a pro but want paddles and stops and differen thumbsticks. I would rec this. But this is just day one. Ill update if it goes bad.
