got 2 of these to give away as christmas gifts to my cousins and they were impressed with the build structure of it and how much you can customize for what you're paying. they are also easy to customize and set up. works well on pc. haven't tried it on the xbox. great alternative to the overpriced elite controller

Best 3rd party controller I have used

I've had this for several weeks now. It was purchased to replace an old Xbox 360 usb controller for my PC. So far, I am extremely satisfied. I haven't purchased a 3rd party controller since my N64 days because back then they were always garbage, but this has fantastic build quality. The back buttons took me a bit to get used to but now I wish I had some for my PS5 controllers (at least ones that don't cost $200+). The rubberized texture is comfortable and slip resistant. All of the buttons have a good feel. My only minor complaint is about the back buttons. They are held loosely in place by a slot and a cantilever, when you pick up your controller or move it weird while playing one will occasionally fall out of place, and it typically doesn't go back into place without flipping it over al looking at what you are doing. I guess I wouldn't recommend throwing this controller in a fit of rage.

I DID love them! We loved them so much we brought 2 more. I don't feel they're built for the everyday gamer maybe the weekend player who wouldn't get upset when the controller JUST TURNS OFF!!!

First off, before all else I want to make one thing clear. THIS CONTROLLER IS WIRED. I game at a desk area so the wired is fine for me. I originally had the Elite Controller 1 from Microsoft and was curious about this controller, mainly because it was 100 cheaper than the Elite 2, which I had my eyes on. However, I decided to try it out and after a month plus of regular use, there is no way I would swap this thing for another controller. It feels great, is completely customizable, and looks great too. My only small complaint is that it took about a week to break in, mainly the back paddle controls (They were extremely stiff off the bat, but are now perfect). Bottom line of this controller is that it does everything that an Elite Controller will do, but for less than half of the price. If you are looking for a controller and can use a wired one with your set up, BUY THIS!!!

Coming from a regular Xbox controller this was a huge upgrade, I wanted to "Up my game" in a sense with the better buttons and the paddles in the back, and it truly did, did it make me a better gamer? No, but I absolutely notice the difference when gaming, it makes you feel more connected and react faster to the game. The only downside I found is that the paddles in the back to tend to come off when you accidentally slip you fingers underneath, and it does happen more often than I'd like to. In the end I removed two of the paddles in the back since it made it harder to grip the controller and I wasn't utilizing those buttons anyways. For the price this controller is worth it if you consider yourself a serious gamer, for more casual gaming I would just use the Regular Xbox controller.

My son is extremely hard on controllers as he is a very avid gamer and edits a bunch. The quick response and ease of operation is impeccable. When he plays people get so upset saying he is cheating or is on a computer and he laughs. He is very pleased with the quality of the item.

Paddle kind of suck and are flimsy tbh. Otherwise super nice high quality. Feel heavy and sturdy in the hands. Might better quality that the Razer imo. Packaging is high quality and feel luxurious.

For a controller with paddles, with rubber grips, with customizable joysticks and braided cable, this is an Absolutely amazing price, i highly recommend this for anyone looking for a controller, even if uou dont want to use the paddles it feels premium compared to a regular controller.

I got tired of the shoulder bumpers breaking on the Elite controller, so I decided to try something different. So far the PowerA has held up well. It feels solid and sturdy. The under paddles are in the same place as the Elite, so there is no adjustment period needed to get accustomed to the feel. You cannot pre-program and save configurations like the Elite, however the button re-assignment is fairly easy to do and can even be made quickly in game. There is no wireless option, but I hate having to swap batteries mid-game so I've always stayed wired even with the Elite. The pros don't use wireless for a reason.

I’ve had this for about a month and i can’t explain how good this controller is. You can use the paddle switches for any button you want. It feels great in your hand and has enough weight to it that you feel like you got a great well built product! Buy this controller for that price!

First, any review after owning something like a controller for less than a month will be inaccurate to the actual quality of the item. Unfortunately, it's why things like the Elite series controllers have such high marks when they have some of the highest failure rates of any controllers within the first 3-6 months. Firstly, I've owned two elite controllers (1 and 2), both which eventually failed me in various ways. My first elite controller gave me almost a year before drift made it unusable (also had broken bumpers but those are an easy fix). My elite 2 lasted 3 months before stick drift was so bad on the left stick I couldn't even play simple, non-FPS games anymore. If I had reviewed them prior to owning them for 3 months, I would have said they are great controllers. Because, all in all, they feel and respond great. Easy to program, good weight, responsive sticks and buttons. ..Until they suddenly aren't and your $180 controller costs another $100 to replace. The Fusion Pro was a last ditch buy because I have to have paddles on my controllers and the Elite controllers are NEVER in stock. I didn't expect much. I mean, if Microsoft can't make a product that works after producing controllers for 15+ yrs, why would a third party be able to, right? Wrong. This controller works really well for the cost. Its a solid controller. Yes, the thumbsticks are more springy, can't be adjusted for tension and the mapping of inputs is pretty rudimentary and requires some adjustments. But for $70, if a controller lasts me almost a year without significant stick drift or other input malfunction, I say it is pretty good. To date, no real appreciable drift in either stick and I am a daily user playing FPS games. However, I now have another problem. For the last month the controller loses connection. The wire isn't loose, it just stops responding and turns off without warning. Can be just sitting there not being touched or mid FPS game. Disconnects were rare, but daily. They now happen several times an hour. Unplugging and re-plugging gets the controller working again only for it to disconnect again for no reason at some point. Could be software, hardware, bad design..Not sure. It's just unusable for gaming at this point. Luckily I purchased the replacement warranty and will get it replaced, pay my fee for the next warranty and continue the saga that is gaming with controllers.Sigh

This is a very nice controller designed for mild competitive game play. It is very helpful being able to assign and configure the controller for quick and ease of use. Being that its wired it has a better response time as well. Very good weight and balance. Also very comfortable grips.

I love this controller so far, it's really comfortable to hold and super easy to customize, however I do have a few minor issues with it. The trigger locks do have some minor issues with certain games that weren't present with my Elite controller, also the 3.5mm headset jack does not work well with my Steelseries Arctis 3 headset. The mic sounds very quiet in game and I've tried it with another controller and it's worked fine. All in all I'll give it a 4 out of 5, it's WAY better than the overpriced Elite controllers with almost the same amount of functions. Would be nice to have an app for multi-button mapping though.

Had an elite and an elite 2, both got stick drift and I couldn't stomach paying that much even though I loved the way they felt. This controller is the best compromise, it's more reliable and less expensive than the elite 2 and somewhat close to the nice premium feel.

Bought this because my elite controller finally died. I was very sceptical of how well it worked compared to the elite. Only issue is the third trigger lock position. Sometimes when pulling the trigger, it doesn't engage completely. Other than that, it's a great controller.

Rubberized grip is nice, buttons have nice click feel. Wish it could use xbox chat adapter or provide a mic mute button. The paddles fall off a little too easy, but overall it is a great value and good quality controller.
