Extended the IR range for my Cable Box remote (my box is hooked up through the XBox One). However, does not work with my Nyko Media Remote for the Xbox One.

I don't have the connect and I'm not using any cable service. I use my xbox one for games, Netflix, and Hulu. I plug in the IR extender and nothing happens...
