Box arrived completely smashed but everything still works. Since it was a gift I couldn’t give it to the person in the box so I had to have it set up already and surprise them.

Looks good but one side is not working. After 1 day still red, not charging.

Stopped working after a few months. Nintendo truly is too popular to care about quality control anymore.

I recently purchased the PowerA Joy-Con Charging Dock, and it has been an absolute game-changer for my Nintendo Switch experience. The sleek black design fits perfectly with the rest of my setup, and it’s incredibly easy to use. Just slide the Joy-Cons into the dock, and they start charging immediately. What I love most is the convenience this dock offers. No more fumbling with cables or worrying about whether my Joy-Cons are charged. this dock is nice. you can charge four joy cons at once. it is super convenient. it does not take up a lot of space.

The base is weighted properly, so it won't just fall over if there are only controllers on one side or if it gets bumped. It is extremely handy to charge up to 4 Joy Cons and it is easy to pack up. My only criticism is for the power cable; it could be a bit longer and possibly come with a Nintendo certified AC plug that you could hook into. That said, the existing USB winds neatly under the base and has charged successfully from the dock USB as well as a UPS USB port.

FINALLY!!! I have been waiting for this type of charging station forever. There were so many times I brought my Switch to a friends and 2 of my controllers were almost dead. Now they are always charged. Plus it connects to the extra USB in the back of the Switch Docking Station. Plus it is extremely cheap, I would have paid double!

I bought this particular charger on a whim inside my local Best Buy recently because I always play in co-op mode on the Switch and needed to charge two sets of joy-cons simultaneously. The Power A charging dock is small, light, easy to set up, easy to understand, and very affordable. The LED indicators work like a charm. The cord isn't too short. The joy-cons dock and undock easily. I have no complaints.

Perfect for keeping a charge on all 4 of my joycons. Gone are the days of "hold on, I need to charge the other 2". Fits nicely in my entertainment center and easily to attach/detach the controllers.

This little charging stand is perfect to tuck away. It is small and simple to use and actually changes the controllers (2 sets actually). the only down side is that is did NOT come with a power brick, however there is a always powered USB port on the Switch so if you store this next to the Switch you can just power it there.

We have more than one set of joy con controllers, and I found charging the controllers on the Switch (while docked) to be a bit of a pain. The Switch dock has two USB ports, so we bought two of these so we can charge 4 sets of controllers at a time. Beware that charing 4 devices off one USB port may take some time (depending on the amount of charge in the controllers). USB is typically 5v at about 2 amps (10 watts), so charging 4 controllers can take some time. It took about 7 hours to initially charge our brand new joy con controllers. Also, moving the Switch in/out of the dock will disrupt the power to the USB ports, so the charging lights on this device will turn red while it synchronizes the charging cycle. No this device does not come with a power supply. It would have been nice, but not a deal breaker for us since we just plug it into the Switch. Yes the USB cord is permanently attached to the charging block, but we never move our Switch dock or charging blocks (so again not a deal breaker for us). Overall we're very pleased. The controllers slide in/out of the charger easily, and it does what it needs to do.

Hello everyone, Allow me to be your specs guy for this review. This charging station allows you to charge two sets of joycons at the same time and you can simply connext it to your switch that will supply plenty of power when the switch is off. After my testing i was able to determin that the charger can take 7 hours or more to charge your joycons while the switch is being used due to the switch taking voltage and amp hours from the OEM switch dock charger. However if the switch is off the joycons would charge within 3.5 to 4 hours from it being low on battery life. This power A joycon charger requires a power adapter that can supply 5 volts @ 500mA Each joycon charges at 5 volts @ 100mA So lwts day you get the Nintendo USB power brick that is 5 volts @ 1.5 Amp Hours for example, that would be an Excellent charger for this device. When it comes to charging it is very easy to use. 1. The charger lights turn RED next to each joycon to let you know its charging. 2. The charger lights turn GREEN next to each joycon to let you know they are fully charged. THE BAD: The non detachable usb cable is only 2.5 feet long so the cable is very short. A 4 to 6 foot cable would have been better so you may need a usb female to male cable extender to be able to have this on a Entertainment Center and charge them with a power brick. This power A charger will pair Excellent with the Nintendo USB AC Adapter sold here at Bestbuy so make sure you get your self one. Hope my review helps you make the right choice in tour purchase. Great controller charger and for the price you get something premium highly recommend so you can have your stuffed juiced whenever your ready to play!

A must-have accessory for any Switch owner – it's reliable, efficient, and makes gaming even more enjoyable!

An efficient way to charge multiple controllers. The light indicators make it easy to know if their charging status. The footprint is relatively small and it’s convenient that it plugs into the console.

This charger doubles as a storage device. A while back I went wild and bought all combinations of neon Joy-Cons. Keeping them charged and organized quickly became an issue. This charging dock takes care of both issues, and I can charge up 4 at a time on it. To keep the Joy-Cons from overcharging, I just unplug the dock (just in case) and keep it as a storage rack. 2 more Joy-Cons charge with the Switch, and the other 2 are stored with the Joy-Con Grip (not charging). In the attached image you can see the 4 Joy-cons with the dock sitting next to the TV on the TV stand. It doesn't take a lot of space and keeps things tidy so I'm happy.

This is a great way to charge four joy-cons at the same time. Can be hooked up to a USB power adapter and placed on a coffee table. Much easier than hooking on to the Switch unit behind the TV which is also limited to two controllers at a time. More Mario Kart 8!

Great charger that does the job. Makes it clear whether it's charging or if controllers are fully charged. It does illuminate brightly so in a dark room you might find it distracting (once the controllers are charged it stays lit up green). Easy to place on and off.

Charges extra remotes well and is compact so that it can be tucked away. The charging cable is very short and only usb. Most problematic is that the cable is so short. Best Buy switches the price all around which is annoying and not every store carries them. The delivery was late per the original stated delivery date. Of course, the Best Buy’s mishaps cannot reflect on the manufacturer’s design. I would recommend this product and buy it again.

Makes charging a breeze. Having 6 controllers in total this thing works wonders
