    That about sums it up. I like the gold for connection reasons but it doesn't make a world of difference. I do like the overall length of the cable it makes playing while charging from your couch a lot easier.

    PRODUCT WORKS AS INTENDED. DISAPPOINTED THAT THE NEW CONTROLLERS DO NOT HAVE THE CHARGE CORD INCLUDED, BUT AFTER RE-READING THE CONTROLLER PACKAGE, IT CLEARLY STATES THIS MUST BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY.

    Stop wasting money on no name charging cord and get the official ones. They are the only ones that will last and not mess up your remote controllers.

    10 bucks is about right for a quality officially licensed cable. Almost as good as Sony OEM - it has their recommendation on it and is the same price as questionable-origin generics sold elsewhere.

    This cable does all the things a micro usb cable should do; like data transfers and charging. However, it does not do the things a micro usb shouldn't do; fixing all the embarrassing things you did in your past that still haunts you when you lay in bed trying to go to sleep, for example.

    The cable that comes with the PS4 is way too small, this one is better. Perfect length so you don't have to sit right up on your TV while the controller is charging. A no-brainer purchase.

    Bought this as a more durable charging cord for my Samsung Galaxy S5. Works fabulous and charges my phone rather quickly!! Use it to charge my Bluetooth wireless speaker, tablet and our PS4 controllers!!

    Works well for Ps4 and android phone. Other standard cables such as the insignia brand don't always work for charging or data transfer on certain devices. Haven't found a case where this cable doesnt work.

    I needed something just a little bit longer than the cord that comes with the PS4, but not too long that I just have an excess of wires. This one was just right.
