It's in a position where if you set the controller down, it rests on this cable slightly. This can cause the connector to get stressed and perhaps makes the connector break. So, I buy these things more than I like to, but it has taught me to be more careful over the years, knowing the connection is a delicate thing. That being said, this cable has a quality connector that fits snug and is pretty robust. It doesn't break unless you drop it on some hard surface, which tends to happen if you leave the controller on your lap and stand up LOL.
