This charging cord is better compared to the default charger that comes originally with the ps4. It's a bit quite longer and allows you to perhaps sit a little further from your system depending on your distance.

This is really more of a public service announcement than a review. In case nobody knows, this cable is the only way to get a PlayStation console to recognize a Dualshock controller so that you can then pair it remotely. It must be connected with an officially licensed cable first. This brand might be the only capable of doing so. Conventional cables won't work for some reason. So if you lose the cable that a Dualshock 4 comes with, you need this one to charge it, or to get a console to recognize it. Also, if you pair it remotely with a personal computer (which is possible) you need this cord to use it with a PlayStation 4 again, because the PS4 won't recognize it remotely until you do. It also works to physically connect a Dualshock 4 with a personal computer. It's incredibly useful. The only complaint I have is that the teeth which hold the microUSB in place have weak springs underneath them so they wear out quickly. This was a problem I encountered with the first ones I bought. I dont know if they've fixed them since them.

This item is simple and works very well. It has the PS4 logo so I know it would be compatible. The length is perfect; not too short and not too long. You can't go wrong with this.

This is the only way to get this cable at best but now. Someone at the store knew the cable I was talking about & knew that they didn’t technically carry it but the “shock controller” used the same connection. Worked perfectly

Works great with the PS4. Recently lost ours right after buying the PS4 and needed to replace it. This one does the same job charging but I believe the cord is longer than the original one.

If you need to buy a charging cable for your ps4 this is the one to go with. It's length is superb and allows you enough room to play and charge. It's also built sturdy and holds up when folded.

Had the chord that gamestop offers (not made by Sony) and it doesn't stay plugged or charges really slow. This is the chord you should use doe Ps4. The added length is a lot better as well.

Make sure you get at least the 6FT; do not waste your time with anything less as the battery on the ps4 controller is horrid and if you play a lot you'll find yourself plugging it in often
