Design is really cool and it worked pretty well for a while! It has started to get a small controller drift/shortage; not sure if it's because of something I did, but I expected that to happen over time. All in all, I am satisfied with my purchase if nothing else because of the cool controller design.

Pretty solid little stand in for my Pro Controller! Feels good in hand, long enough chord, buttons are pretty well laid out compared to the first party controllers. Good to use as a backup, if the Pro Controller (my first choice) needs to be charged! Can’t figure out if/how it can be used to power on the system though. There are simple work-arounds for that though... A good product.

The reason I was first drawn to this controller is because of the look. It has awesome Zelda markings on it and the black with the gold makes it stand out. The part I like most about it is that it feels like an Xbox controller but with switch controls. The feel of it makes gameplay that much better and the overall experience great! If you don't want to buy the Pro controller this is the next best option for anyone with a switch.

It's no Pro Controller, but if you're sick of casual couch gaming with joycons, this is a huge step up comfort wise. The joycons have just always felt too small for me. The lack of extra internals make this controller really lightweight, which can be a good thing depending on your preference. Plus...it's got BOTW Link on it which was already a good enough selling point for me.

Good option for extra controllers. Missing a couple of the features the pro controller has but not a big deal to me. It feels comfortable to use, the only two very small complaints are that the joysticks are a little slippery to use and the left joystick sometimes gets stuck in the down position but it's not much of a problem. The detailing on the controller is exactly how it looks it the pictures also

If you are looking for a much more affordable version of a Switch Pro controller, I definitely would recommend this. Keep in mind it is wired however. The art is great, and overall the controller feels pretty good. My only complaint is if you are looking to use it for long Smash Bros sessions, the analog sticks will eventually start to hurt your fingers because of the bevel on the edges.

Bought this on sale for only $15, which would have been a great deal if it performed its basic functions. It worked like a charm for a hot TWO WEEKS... then the malfunctions kicked in. First was the dreaded joystick drift. It started with random left movements coming from the right joystick. So during my games, the camera would just start wondering off to the side and would only stop after a few repeated corrections. It would return after another few minutes. Next, the vertical drift! On the same right joystick, it would act as if I randomly started holding upwards. Again, it takes several repeated corrections for it to stop, but then the slightest use of that joystick could set it off again at any time. It's really annoying and messes with camera angles and menus all the time. Trying to go through inventory becomes agonizing at times. Finally, the connection issues. When I first got it, I plugged it in and we were good to go! I thought I made a good purchase. But shortly after the other problems kicked in, this started. When I turned on the Switch, I would have to unplug and plug in the cable on the top of the controller, otherwise it would act as if it were not there at all. This is NOT how it behaved earlier on, when starting it up was a breeze. Combine this three problems and this thing can either be a fine controller for 30 minutes, or an irritating experience every 30 seconds. This is the first Power A controller I got for Switch, so it's disappointing. The ONLY reason it gets 2 stars instead of one, is because the controller, if it actually functioned properly, would have been great! It's on the lighter side, but the plastic is very smooth and comfortable to the touch. The buttons and joysticks feel nice as well, though the d-pad is a bit... squishy? (I mean it doesn't have snappy response.) Could have been a great wired controller, but now I have the thing and need a different replacement. I suppose the only 99% safe way to go for Switch controllers is always going to be the first-party Switch Pro Controller (even though it costs a buhjillion dollars compared to third-party).

I enjoy the weight and feel of the controller in my hands, but the feeling of pressing the face buttons and shoulder buttons is a bit awkward. Recommended for beginners, but for someone generally familiar with modern console controllers, I'd recommend investing into a pro controller.
