This game is definitely not the best of the series. unity does take full advantage of the new consoles capabilities. The gameplay is fluid the visuals are breathtaking. It does not add new game mechanics, but it is definitely fun to play through.

Another game in the long line of Assassins Creed games. This game keeps me coming back for the puzzle/stealth/fighting/climbing/running aspect of the game. Its a fun game that immerses you in historical France. Unlike other AC games, it seems that there isn't a playable character outside of the animus. I could be wrong on that because I'm not too far into the game yet.

Unity is my favorite Assassin's Creed game to date. It also, in my opinion is the best one due to multiple reasons. There are the new side missions like murder mysteries, adding to things to due and exploring more of the city than you would in earlier games. The updates in graphics make the new free running amazing and more lifelike with the possible moves.

Graphics are great and I really enjoy the passive versus active moves feature. Story line and gameplay, set in the streets of Paris, move seamlessly on the X-Box One platform and looking towards playing with friends using the co-op option.

This latest addition of Assassin's Creed has lived up to it's expectations. The storyline is well written and will give you endless hours of entertainment. If you are an Assassin's Creed fan, then you need to add Unity to your collection.

I have really enjoyed the Assassin's Creed series and so I was looking forward to this game. It definitely did not disappoint. The co-op missions are a great addition to the game. The controls are pretty smooth, and its been great sprinting through crowded streets, climbing buildings, and wandering through the tunnels and passageways of Paris.

I love role play games, Something is real, makes you live the story. I have been playing AC since AC1, and i played all series, and this one is cool. There is some bugs, the story is not great as Ezio series, but if you played AC Rouge first, then played Unity, you will be amazed how they are connected. Pick it up and you wont regret it.

The last Creed game i played was part 2 and that was amazing. The basics haven't changed but they sure added alot of unnecessary gimmicks in my opinion. None the less i'm having fun with the game that's for sure.

I liked this game a lot. Of course the parkour and fighting has gotten better and better with every game that comes out. My wife didn't like it for the story line. The map can be a little overwhelming as well.

Nice graphics. Controls are not on point, not as responsive. Many glitches that cause you to have to restart the mission.

I had high expectations for the latest Assassin's Creed game after having played through Black Flag. I was eagerly anticipating walking through the busy streets of Paris during the French Revolution and exploring all the intricate details offered/promised by the new generation of consoles. I was quite impressed by the graphics displayed in the game, however, the frame rate leaves much to be desired. The game slows to a crawl in certain sections and does not run anywhere near the claimed 30 FPS by Ubisoft. Much like Revelations, the story is jumbled and at times incoherent. The relationship between Arno and Elise was interesting. The addition of co-op missions is much welcome to the franchise, i do however miss the true multiplayer. It would have been nice to play the entire game in co-op, but the missions available are quite fun and challenging if you want to play stealthy. I found the combat in Unity to be quite different than previous versions and not in a particularly good way. The limited HUD option was a great addition to the game. I generally find AC UI to be ugly but the limited HUD allows you to take in the wonderful level of detail in the environment without the map, buttons and health meter. It would have been nice had the developers included more of an indication of low health in the limited HUD mode as I found myself dying after just a few hits because there was no such indication.

I enjoyed the hours of gameplay but the main issue for me was that the game left more to desired in relating to other games in the series. The graphics were great and the gameplay was enjoyable.

It is a fun game and follows the same action as previous games in the series. Sadly, not much is added and the game story line is very simple. If you liked Black Flag or ACIII you'll like this.

After reading all the release day reviews I was extremely skeptical about this game. So much so that I rented a copy so that I could return my preorder just in case. But after 3 hours of game play I have not experienced any of the "crippling frame rate drops" or the bad story line. The graphics and scope of the city alone make it worth playing. Still a fan of the AC series

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she made me play, too. Not as good as her, but a great game even for a guy like me who is slower on the reflexes. I can't believe how far quality has progressed in games. Super fun and appreciate that Best Buy is nearby with all I'm looking for.

All of the AC games are the same for the most part. The series peaked @ AC:II, but I just keep playing them, so I guess that says something.

This is hard for me to say, being such a fan of the series since the beginning-- Assassin's Creed Unity could quite possibly be the biggest disappointment as far as big name titles go. The story is uninteresting, the lead character is dull and hard to connect with, and then...there are the numerous bugs and glitches-- so many, in fact, it's like Ubisoft didn't bother to beta-test the game before release. AC: Unity is getting it fair share of public backlash for this, and deservedly so. Don't get me wrong-- the game is beautiful, aesthetically. With this being the first iteration of Assassin's Creed on a next-generation console, the game looks great, granted, there are areas where it's clear that the developers don't really know where to harness the power of these consoles, and again, that's evident in the bugginess. There are tons of other things that makes this game stand out from the other games in the series, but in all seriousness, even those areas are flawed, especially with the abundance of microtransactions that were included. So, if you're a fan of Assassin's Creed, enter at your own risk. Of course, patches and updates are coming really soon, but it's going to take some serious work to make it worth purchasing upon release. Keep that in mind before purchasing.
