Before the Arkham games the Batman franchise has had a rocky reputation with video games. It's not until Rocksteady's surprise hit Batman: Arkham Asylum that really shook the video game community by surprise. That still hold true with their latest and final installment Batman: Arkham Knight. The game let's you control Batman, and it really does an excellent job of making you feel like you're Batman. The combat, story, and gadgets all feel genuine to the world and it's characters. The only negative thing I have to say about the game is the overuse of the Batmobile, I'd say you use it almost 40% of the game, and that's a lot. It almost feels forced, and after awhile it gets dull and repetitive. It also has a "tank" mode, which pulls me out of the experience, as it's something Batman won't ever do. Overall it's a far from perfect game but still a fun experience and offer a great conclusion to the Arkham games.

Awesome game-play and story line. Graphics are incredible. Amount of options and combos are huge! I firmly believe this is likely the best game to date for the PS4.

The Batman Arkham games have been a pretty good series and Arkham Knight is no exception. It's a fun game with beautiful graphics and a fairly interesting, if not original Batman storyline. While I haven't fully completed the game, yet, I am enjoying it immensely and can't wait to finish to see how it will all end. This game seems more suspenseful and much darker than previous games. I really think and hope that the Arkham series is ending on a high note. If you have played both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, then you are in for a treat. As for Origins, it was good, but not as good as the first two and Knight might very well be on par, it not surpassing, the first two Arkham games as quality goes. Playing the batmobile is a little awkward and has a little bit of a learning curve, but you feel almost unstoppable when driving around in it. So in conclusion, this is definitely a title to pick up this year.

This game is absolutely wonderful. It is the most comprehensive Batman game out there - stunning graphics, snappy controls, and a good story. Absolutely love it!!

I've been a loyal Arkham Asylum fan since day 1 (I even wrote my thesis on the game!), I LOVED Arkham City, and despite some frustrations, enjoyed Arkham Origins for the most part. Although I was skeptical in the first few minutes of the game, Arkham Knight has proven to be fantastic so far - there is a good balance of story and action, and the introduction of the Batmobile brings a new dimension to the gameplay without dominating it too much as a shiny new toy. There is a significant amount of DLC available, but I wouldn't bother with the season pass unless you can pick it up on sale.

My experience so far has been great; no bugs, no hassles. The game looks amazing, and the new features are almost overwhelmingly fun. I'm so glad they've made the batmobile a larger piece of the game. My only (mild) complaint is the batmobile controls. It has a 'battle mode', which you enter by pressing the L2. Typically, L2 is 'brake', for most driving games, when using R2 for acceleration. Instead, brake is assigned to square. Just an odd choice, which many gamers seem to fumble with (see youtube). Obviously, you can adapt with time, and hardly takes away from this game. Best in the series

Def a must own. Graphics are super sick on the PS4 and the story and side missions keep you glued. Batmobile is fun but the Joker is the best part of the story.

Interesting story, fun game, love the batmobile and all the side missions you can do during the main game, lots of characters from the batman universe and the dlc is all good stuff to keep you playing. Ending threw me off a little and i wanted more on one part of the story that didnt close up very well but not worth dropping a star off. Just leaves it up to fan theories and all.

The final chapter of Rocksteady's Arkham trilogy has all the best systems from their previous games, Arkham Asylum and Arkham City....plus one big new one, The Batmobile. Some things have been slightly improved from earlier titles, like the mission wheel, while the Batmobile (and its neat "tank mode") is a completely new and exciting way to take on baddies. The story is really quite good, with a twist you may or may not see coming, but should enjoy either way. Past characters with famous names return, but their are new ones, too. It really is the culmination of everything Rocksteady has built since beginning development of their first Batman game, Arkham Asylum. Arkham Knight is an excellent game with enough to do and experience to warrant its 60 dollar asking price. If you are a fan of Batman and video games, this is a no brainer.

I'm a big fan of Batman so I'll try to keep this review biased. I was a fan of the previous 2 games so I was really excited for this 3rd installment. I was not entirely disappointed. There is still the jumping from rooftops and beating up the bad guys but the Batmoblie.....is pretty cool. Although it takes a lot of getting used to handling it. I'm not as impressed on how much the game revolves around the Batmoblie. I'm about 1/3 though the game and I think I've spent more time having to use the Batmoblie than doing everything else. Whatever. It's still a great game!

This game was amazing with an entertaining story and a huge city to explore with plenty of riddles to solve along with other free roam missions outside the main campaign gives it some replay value. The fighting and flying mechanics are the best in the series but the main story is great just not amazing. There are some side quests with other villains the are very well done just the arkham knights identity is too predictable. After beating the story, solving all the riddles and doing all the side quest I still want more batman and thats a good thing. 9.5 out of 10.

This Arkham game looks and plays very well on PS4. I feel the game is every bit as good as the previous Arkham games. If you're familiar with the previous games, you should enjoy this one. The huge additional to this game is the Batmobile which I have enjoyed. Most parts of the game using the Batmobile control well. Other than specific missions, you can optionally use it it get around or just fly around the city instead as in previous games. Rocksteady has delivered another triple A game here. If you enjoy their previous Batman games, you should like this one.

    Batman: Game of they Year?

This game may be a contender for game of the year solely based on the fact that it is , when you get down to it, a great gaming experience. I have yet to finish the game to completion, but from what I've played so far it seems to be one of the best in the series. Give this game a chance, Even though some gamers have heard that the Batmobile is used too much, it takes some getting use to the controls, and the more you play, the more sense that it makes as to why Rocksteady put the Batmobile in the game. The game itself is massive, so that is why the Batmobile is in the game. Best Buy did a great job of advertising this game in their store that I go to also because a lot of people there, that didn't even know a new Batman game was coming out, soon knew because of their amazing advertising posters, standees etc.

So far, I would have to say that this is the truly best of the Arkham series. The graphics, the story, the detail... All are amazing. The control is a little difficult to learn, moving to the newest generation concole. 8.4 out of 10

In short, VERY interesting story even if you're like me and you don't know much about the Batman universe outside of Joker, Two-Face, Penguin and the Riddler. This game is mature, no doubt about it and there are a lot of surprises both in gameplay and in the story that kept me interested. That said, the combat is quite challenging even for someone that played through just the original Arkham Asylum and skipped the two ones after. I can't imagine a lot of people being able to finish this game as it feels like Ninja Guiden in terms of enemies that come at you and throw stuff that you won't see coming. Maybe it's me and I'm getting too old for these types of brawler games. Regardless, I think it is one of the better games to come out this year and I would recommend it no problem.

What it really feels like to be Batman!

The game masterfully captures what it probably feels like to be Batman. Overwhelmed by crime and using your head as much as your fists. Rocksteady Studios really listened to the fans and put in everything they have wanted since the first game. An explorable Gotham, a drivable Batmobile and all the villains we haven't seen yet. The Batmobile drives great and is fun to use and the side mission are a huge improvement over Arkham City's. However the story feels a bit hastily thrown together at times, the lack of boss battles and satisfying villain confrontations is frustrating and one concept i won't spoil is cool at first but quickly becomes annoying and unnecessary. But it's a great final installment to a great game franchise, and a must play for fans of the character.
