This game is different from many of the games out there but that's what makes it good, because it doesn't follow a mold. It takes a little bit to get into it but once you are, it's a very good game with interest gameplay and a great story. Would recommend this to someone looking for a different type of game.

Love this game, puzzles , humor and a bit of mature. Overall fun and enjoyable. Replay value to me is high. Hope others will enjoy this game, sweet deal as well.

My daughter loved it. She plays the game everyday.

Catherine is a very fun puzzle game with a very interesting story and good characters. The gameplay is a lot of fun and will surely have you hooked. Atlus really did a phenomenal job with this game. For a unique gaming experience, definitely check out Catherine.

Bought this game way back and played it through on my brother's XBOX before I repurchased one for myself. Realistically, I only purchased it because of the anime style...and the great cover art! I was very surprised when I popped it in and started playing. Basically, the main character has a girlfriend named Katherine...and he ends up cheating with a girl named Catherine...and scary enough, my brother's girlfriend is named Catherine, too! He starts having crazy weird dreams where in our gameplay is involved. In the dream world, you're in a race against time with other sheep who are also apparently other people trapped in their nightmares. Each mission is a puzzle-solving adventure where you have to move, destroy, and climb blocks to reach the exit and wake up. The story progresses the more nightmares you survive. I loved the fact that there's so much story to the game. Most everything takes place in a bar, a cafe, or in your bedroom. Your decisions affect the outcome of the game based on if you choose Catherine or Katherine. The more points, trophies, and statues you gather during the nightmares gives you a better store which also gives more bonuses in game. I definitely recommend starting the game on easy to get a feel for the levels before putting it into high-gear. The only downsides would have to be the very mature storyline which should kick out anyone 13 and under. Parents are much more likely to let their kids play a shooter with an M rating rather than one that has a lot of inuendo and such. And the 2nd would be the over-abundance of cut scenes. You watch almost as much as you play which I enjoyed but others may not.

I was surprised that I found the puzzles more entertaining than the story. I thought it was going to be the other way around! The puzzles are very addicting and very challenging. A very surprising amount of replayability.
