Nostalgia on overdrive! Looks great, plays great, even the already remastered first game has been improved. No saving mid-level though, so watch that.

I believe that Halo: Master Chief Collection for Xbox One was a good value for the price that I paid. For the price of one new Xbox One game, you get Halo 2, 3, and 4. You also get a new digital series called Halo: Nightfall. You also get access to the Halo 5: Guardians Beta. I previously played some of the Halo games on an Xbox 360, and I enjoyed them enough to pay for them again for my Xbox One. The graphics are much better on the Xbox One than on the Xbox 360, and I believe that Halo: Master Chief Collection was a great investment for my new gaming system.

I really do like the fact that they placed them all in one game. I'm hooked on Halo 5 so don't really play this game. What I didn't like about this is that when you are in a game and the game ends, it doesn't automatically keep you in the same selected game play and automatically load the next game. You pretty much get kicked out, chose the game play you want then hit start to load the game. Actually annoying. Not like in the past where you can end a game, walk away to do something, come back the game is ready for action. Just my opinion...

Reliving these games is such a blast! 60fps is awesome, the ability to switch between the original graphics and the newly rendered version shows you the how far this game has come, and it was great back in the day!
Admittedly, I have not played multiplayer online. I have played multiplayer locally and that rocked, but it sounds like they're still having problems with the online servers.
This game is totally worth the price for the fact you're getting 4 games in one, and they've said that they will throw in ODST once they're done rewriting that.. buy it!

I'm not giving this 5 stars due to the fact that 343 didn't plan correctly and their servers couldn't handle the number of people trying to play matchmaking.
I love the halo franchise and enjoy playing the campaign, but I really bought this to relive all of the great C.E., Halo 2, and Halo 3 matching maps. I've had this game since release and I've only been able to play in TWO matching games in 4 days.
I hope they get this figured out soon, especially if they plan to roll out the Halo 5 beta.

Being a long time fan of the Halo franchise, I was very excited to learn that they were going to be putting Halo 1-4 in a collected edition for XBox One.
The graphics are on point for this game, especially the remastered Halo 2 Anniversary.
However, the main problem with this game so far has been the multiplayer feature. Many Halo fans, including myself are avid matchmaking addicts and very excited to finally be able to play with our friends on the new XBox One console. Since launch, we have been plagued with insanely long wait times and lag in play once a match is finally executed.
Overall 4/5

One of the best games, actually 4 of the best games ever, in one collection. Halo 1,2,3, and Reach. 4 is in it too but not as good. If you’ve never played the games it’s worth a buy, much better than 5 or infinite.

As growing up, seeing the master chief combat hordes and hordes of enemy aliens I was enthralled of how advanced the combat looked, graphics and pushing the boundaries for console shooters. Now 10+ years has passed since Halo 2's release, it got a nice face lift along with Halo: Combat evolved that it got a few years prior.
This collections lets you enjoy the nostalgia from Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4. with every map included so you can challenge your friends/enemies to combat and claim if they screen peaked or not.

Over the years ive played halo here and there but wasnt into gaming enough to really follow the storyline in order until now. Starting on the first mission of the first game took an adjustment becus of the gameplay, however it lets you switch between the remastered graphics and the old look which is drastic and really makes you appreciate how far the game has come. Looking forward to making it through all 4 games and seeing the progression. Also ive been playing it all co op with a buddy which is a great feature to have

You get Halo 1-4 and and improvement for graphics on the 2nd one. Only trouble was online, difficult to find a match. Still you get a preview with the Halo 5 Beta

If you're looking at this game then you probably already know how great the Halo series is. If you are a fan, buy it. If you are not a fan yet, buy it and you'll be one. It is a great collection of games and content all on one disc. The only problem is that there are currently some matchmaking issues. The reason for not deducting a star or complaining more is because I have faith that 343 and MS will fix the issues. Even without matchmaking and just playing the campaign, it is still a great buy. Can't wait for matchmaking to be polished up though!

Fantastic collection, features all the original games I grew up with. I remember staying up til 3am on release day for Halo 2, just so I could continue the story from where we last left off with the Chief. Fast forward to a few nights ago, where you find me and like 5 other buddies gathering to relive the days of Halo CE, 2, and 3. We took turns after every death, swapping controllers for the snack bowl. Moments like these are pure, and make almost anything priceless.

The first HALO game was a much-needed shot in the arm to the FPS genre. Since then Bungie and Microsoft have tried their best to outdo themselves with each new installment. Collected here are the first four HALO games with the early ones remastered to look even more awesome on Xbox One. Still the real joy is being able to access dozens upon dozens of hours of gameplay. So many levels, so many maps, so much fun. Enjoy the entire HALo saga, back to back.

I was very excited to see that all 4 Halos were one disc. Being a big Halo fan, this was a definite buy for me. However, while the games itself are good, the Halo servers are terrible (at the moment). Haven't played in a while because it would take 30 minutes to 1 hour, maybe more, just to get into a game on Xbox Live. Then once you play one game, goodluck trying to play another one. It honestly been the worst launch for such a hyped up game. I would buy if you're a fan, but in terms of Live play, wait until they resolve the server issues.

Having all 4 main halo games with all sp campaigns and mp maps, including all dlc, is pretty awesome. I love that there are mp playlists that span all 4 games.
