Customers appreciate the updated graphics and the improving online multiplayer. Many enjoy the amount of content, including multiple campaigns and creative stories, especially considering the price. However, some customers have noted issues with online play, bugs, lag, and the large download size. Overall, the collection seems to be well-received despite these drawbacks.

Phenomenal for what it is. The Halo Reach campaign is not included unfortunately, but you can buy the dlc.
A very fun way to relive the world of Halo. The problem is that the main audience for this game is for hardcore halo fans and the people still playing matchmaking are very skilled even in social modes.
After playing Halo 5, it is very clear how broken these games were with online matchmaking and it can be very frustrating. The campaigns however are extremely fun to walk through again!

So far what I love about this game is being able to go back and experience all of my favorite campaign moments from the earlier entries on my Xbox one. Anyone who's a fan will also love it for that. We will also love the multiplayer once they get the kinks worked out. For anyone interested in the Halo universe or even if you're like" what the heck is Halo" (I'm sure there's someone out there who falls in this category) this is definitely a great place to start. A compilation of great videogames. There is also a great multiplayer there but like I said their workin on day one kinks but in the grand scheme of things and for as much longevity as this game will have with all its content, the multiplayer will inevitably be just as great as the campaign experience

I'm new to Halo (Had a PS3 before buying the Xbox One a few months ago). I've only played this for a few hours so far, but the graphics are great, the game play is fun, and the amount of content for the money is super.

I enjoyed all of the original games, but it is always nice to replay a game later with better graphics. The Halo 2 Anniversary game is great. Lots of people seem to be having issues with multiplayer and campaign achievements; however, I have not noticed any campaign issues other than one time when I accessed a terminal it would not let me resume my game but after a restart I found I had just hit a checkpoint so no work was lost. I noticed a few times I couldn't find multiplayer games but once I tried it again I was added to a game and was playing within 2-3 minutes.
All in all, I think this is a good buy especially considering the lack of games available at this current time. This will tide me over for a while until more games are available.

4 great games packed under one roof. The single player and co-op modes work and look fantastic running at a smooth 60 fps. This would of gotten a 5 star easy if there hadn't been so many issues still occurring with the huge competitive multiplayer aspect where many people are still running into constant issues. This is a great compilation of games trying to achieve something that has never been done before and bringing in 4 unique experiences on one disk, but the multiplayer flaws are near unforgivable. Once all the multiplayer aspects are addressed this will be a compilation for the ages, which hopefully starts a trend of mashing in all games from a game series on one disk. Here's hoping for Mass Effect, Gears of War, and dare I say Shenmue 1,2,&3 compilations, and plenty of others.
Great games, 60 bucks for 4 good games is worth it

I bought an Xbox One just for this, I have always been a Sony guy but when Microsoft said they will be releasing this collection, I just had to have it. I never played a halo game and I didn't want to go back on the old Xbox to try the first one and I didn't want to buy an Xbox 360. This all in one package of the 4 main games was a must have for me. The graphics are incredible, smooth buttery 60fps on all the games and the classic multiplayer that I finally got to play is there as well. If your a halo fan, fps fan, or don't know what to pick up for your Xbox one, then this mega pack is for you. 5/5 from me! Plus having a Gamers Club Unlocked membership made it down to 48 bucks for 4 games, you can't beat that.

By now, most of you MCC owners are still waiting to play the multiplayer with consistency. Yes, 343 Studios fell short of getting their servers ready for launch, and yes, the multiplayer is crippled (at the moment). But that aside, you still get 4 full length games in 1080p60fps that look better than ever. The games themselves are pure awesomeness and I love reliving the old stories. The amount of content you get for the price of 1 game is awesome and hasn't been seen since Valve's Orange Box. The multiplayer will be fixed, so everyone calm down. By the time you make it through all the campaigns I'm sure the multiplayer will be back in all it's Halo glory everyone remembers.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is a wonderful package for those who entered into the Halo universe from the start or who recently joined with the release of Halo 4. It contains all four main-series games for only $60 which is a deal and a half. No other AAA game contains as much story-telling and fun as this game. You will spend countless hours playing through all four games' campaigns, the MP, and getting all of the 450 achievements. It catches the player up to speed for the release of Halo 5 next year and gives them access to the Halo 5 MP beta test later in 2014. For $60, I've never seen a (collection of) games that has been so worth the money and time.

I bought this game because I love the halo series, and it's been long since the last time I played a halo game, since I sold my Xbox 360, I wanted a way of replaying the series again and when I heard that this collection was coming on Xbox one I got very happy, a must buy if you are Halo fan, at the moment online multiplayer has a lot of problems but it will be fixed soon, for the mean time you have 4 amazing games complete with all dlc and 4 amazing campaigns plus Halo Nightfall and beta to Halo 5 multiplayer, dont miss your chance to enjoy Master Chief remastered running at 60 fps 1080p the Chief never looked this better and thanks to the Xbox one console.

1st of all I will admit that I am a Halo fan from back in the original Xbox days. This collection is a must own for anyone that is a fan of the Halo universe. The entire series has been remastered for the Xbox One and is an awesome ride down memory lane for some very fun to play games. You can find this game discounted and you should make the purchase. Worth owning and playing for old timers like myself and young bucks alike. Solid game play and great story line will keep you entertained for days and weeks ahead.

Compilations are often great because they let you play a bunch of great titles. The original Halo was a system seller and the second was a game that really made online gaming for consoles take off. The third was the end of an era and one of the best games of the year. The fourth wasn't quite on the same level, but it was still good and it's relatively newer. All four of these games in one pack. Oh, and did I mention the first three have gotten a huge facelift? Totally worth it and a must own for the system.

I remember, during the searching process (for this game), I kept coming across sites/places that had this game costing double of what Best Buy offered it for. So when I saw Best Buy’s price, I was a little bewildered. I searched the website until I finally convinced myself that this was the physical game, not just a code, and it was new. That’s when I was sold! The price was right and I was able to pick the game up at the store when I could and the rest is history! This game is incredible. No regrets, whatsoever.

This game is a great bundle of some of my favorite Xbox games -- Halo 1, 2, 3, and 4. The graphics have been improved, and the multiplayer uses a mix of the four games' multiplayer maps to really add a diversity to the multiplayer experience. For having bought this primarily for access to the Halo 5 multiplayer beta, I was pleasantly surprised at the enjoyment of replaying some of the most game-changing titles of the Xbox consoles -- all in beautiful Next Gen graphics! Worth it for any fan of the Halo series, and a great way for those who want to get into the franchise to catch up before the release of Halo 5.

I began playing Halo CE soon after it came out when I was in 6th grade and haven't stopped since. Having the MCC and being able to play any Halo map, original or remastered, is the greatest trip down memory lane. It's almost overwhelming! This game is a must have for anyone with an Xbox One. Whether you're a seasoned veteran to Halo or a newcomer, this is the game to get. It's a masterpiece and I can't wait to spend hours and hours playing it. NOTE: For those turned off by the bugs that are getting fixed by 343i, just give it time and enjoy the ride.

It's been a while since I played the Halo series. I bought my 9 yr old son an Xbox One and thought we could try the Halo Master Chief Collection together. The Halo games are challenging enough for me and straightforward enough for my 9 yr old. The best thing with this collection is I am not switching discs to play a different series (Halo 1, Halo 2, etc).
I am enjoying these games just as much or more playing them the second time through.

For those of you more into the Halo lore and story, this is the one to get! All prior Halo games compiled in one package for Xbox One! Fantastic buy that way! If you are a very young gamer new to Halo and enjoy a good sci-fi story, I definitely recommend the game to you as well. As for multiplayer fans, it's not up and running as prior games were. Once that's all polished, it'll garner 100% across the board.....story, graphics, multi-player. MP is different from COD/Battlefield fans. It just comes down to preference: sci-fi or not.

This single discs gets you 4 amazing games in the Halo franchise complete with single player campaigns as well as multiplayer.Halo and Halo 2 have also been remastered to make the graphics better than the originals. You also have the option to switch back and forth between the old and new graphics in Halo and Halo 2 so you can see just how drastic the new coats of paint are.If you have not yet picked this up,it is a must have for your Xbox One!
