MGS 5 is an absolute blast to play, I love how it is a true sequel to the truly underrated metal gear solid peace walker. You can sink countless hours doing side missions, building up your offshore bass, building up your army plus building your own metal gear. If you have been a fan of the series you owe it to yourself to play the final chapter of this historic saga.

I haven't played any of the Metal Gear Solids since the first one came out for PS1, but this game is everything I expected it to be. The graphics are amazing, the story line is impeccable, and the fact that you have access to the prequel makes it that much more enjoyable.

So I am not too far into this yet, but so far, this could be the best MGS ever created. The storyline is not as in depth as others I've played, but to be honest, there were a couple MGS's that it was almost too much IMO. Graphics are amazing, gameplay is awesome, the menu is a little clunky, but that doesn't affect the game/experience for me.

I've never played a Metal Gear Solid game before this, but that did not affect my enjoyment at all. This game has great open world gameplay coupled with in-depth base and equipment upgrading. I can see spending over a hundred hours with it.

If you're a metal gear fan, this is a must play. The gameplay is a realization of Kojima's vision. Levels can be played in so many ways and the story is as strange as you'd expect, Next gen graphics.

While this is a bit different in terms of structure from MGS 4, this game is every bit as good and you won't be disappointed. The layout is more open world and little less linear than MGS 4. I'm about 30 hours in and only have completed 13% of the game. In terms of content, there is a ton from the main story, to MGS online, to base infiltration, etc... this not only adds variety but replayabilty as well. Get MGS V definitive edition if you haven't played ground zeroes and/or you want the bit of DLC that's been released for phantom pain.

This Black Friday in July deal was a treat. Not much of a gamer but I loved the original Playstation Metal Gear Solid. I didn't play the ones in between that game and this one, but the reviews seemed good and I felt nostalgic. For less than $20, I got to enjoy this wonderful game. Great storyline, which is important with so many games out there with competing for attention. The graphics are great. The missions are not tedious and a lot of fun. It's a great value because it has all the different DLCs, prequel and other online content.

This is not your typical MG game. It is an open world game, GTA style. You have the freedom to approach missions any way you want, which equal to endless strategies. Pure genius.

This is the culmination of a twenty year storyline. The best and most convoluted yet crazy story I have ever followed!!! Awesome graphics and great gameplay!

Now a days I tend to wait for definitive editions of games to come out. Great game and for the price, can't beat it. If you haven't picked up MGS5 yet, spend the extra 20 and get 2 games in one.

This was hands down the greatest metal gear solid experience gameplay wise. The missions were fun and didnt last too long and the multiplayer was a blast as well. The narrative was not as strong as previous entries but some people may actually be okay with that. Hands down must own for any fan of shooter or stealth action games.

I have been a fans of Metal gear solid since the ps1 generation. Metal gear solid 5 completes the series to a full circle. I love tye idea oh having OPEN WORLD metal gear solid game. Sadly this is going to be last metal gear solid gamre By Hideo Kojima. For the price its really worth it, we get all the Dlcs etc.

Metal gear solid 5 was probably the best story in the whole Metal Gear series. It's a shame whatever falling out happened with Kojima and Konami, but glad we got to see this game. The definitive edition is also a better alternative than buying Ground Zeroes and Phantom pain separately. I miss David Hayter though.

Objectively a good game. Gameplay is fun, with a decent amount of stuff to do. But this isn't the complete game that we expected or that the team under Kojima were trying to achieve. Don't expect the ending to the Metal Gear saga that you were hoping for.

The Definitive Experience has two games on one disc, that was awesome!! I really love to play Contra when am a child and excited to play a game developmed by Konami. This game is of the best games I ever played. Konami should design more games!!!
