I love the Metroid series and this is not a bad game, but it shouldn't be labeled as a Metroid game.

Nice game and well design. Each character's functions are clear and very easy to control. Online function is great.

This is a disappointing entry in the Metroid franchise. Why can't we get a new 2D Metroid game?

Metroid for babies. I played for a feww hours and sold it, its a disgrace to the franchise.

First off, yes this isn't what wanted as. As a Metroid Fan, I'm disappointed, but as a 3DS fan, I was impressed. Playing online on the 3DS may not always be the best experience for some, but for me, it's an experience unlike any other. Playing with my buddies in 4-player coop was fun! Puzzles were challenging, and boss battles were tough. Solo play is also good as well, but you could at least play with other players online if you don't have partners to play with. Grab it if you're interested.

My 11 year old son loves this game. It is very challenging and engaging. The key feature it is missing is local download play for the missions (a vital feature Zelda Triforce Heroes). The missions get difficult at times and are really designed for multiplayer, but if you do not have friends with their own copy of the game, they cannot join in the mission with you. You can join with people online, but Nintendo is normally the console for local multiplayer. They really dropped the ball by not including it for the missions.

Metroid Prime is a fantastic game. works great for the 3ds.

Was expecting a bit more since this was a Metroid game, but the game is pretty decent. Not to say it's bad, but it's not great - just OK.
