Easy and very entertaining. Controls are easy to learn which helps when building,digging,hunting,and fighting throughout your madeup adventure land. Definitely gets those creative juices flowing for hours and hours of playtime.

This is a great game with awesome graphics. My boy who are 10 can't stop playing it. They have had trouble saving their games. But overall, good game play without the worry of unnecessary violence.

Minecraft is a great way to express your creativity! You get to build, destroy, mine, and just have fun!

This is a pretty fun game and my son absolutely loves it. It takes a bit to get used to the controls and placing items in the game, but with a little practice it gets easier.

What is there not to love about Minecraft on the PS4? It's allowed me to get my iPhone back from my boys now that they can enjoy it together on the TV. It definitely takes a little getting used to once you played the mobile version but it's all the same. It took my 6 year old just 15 minutes to relearn the controls.

We bought this game for the whole family. We have heard many positive things from many people. Our 6 year old loves this game. You have to be careful though, because it could turn into a time waster. Graphics are super simple but you get used to them. Easy game but really fun. The whole family gets into this game.

Minecraft is a very enjoyable game. It can keep you entertained for hours. I have played Minecraft on PC, 360, PS3 and now the PS4. There is a lot to do, good thinking game. It has RPG like tendencies, but also survival as well. You can play with your friends or you can play by yourself. There is a always the demo available to download if you want to try it out first. But I'd recommend it.

I bought this as a gift for a niece with a PS4. She loves Minecraft and wanted to play on her new console (in addition to her iOS devices). The console versions are good but don't have all the features of the PC version, so be aware that there are differences. The consoles have some exclusive features, but I still prefer the PC to have the most complete Minecraft experience.

My two daughters play this game almost every day. They are constantly building in creative mode and making houses and apartment buildings. Anything they can think of, they can make. I like to see them playing something that is at least a little bit creative. It takes some getting used to if they aren't used to using controllers, but they pick it up fast. The setup was a mess. You have to create a separate profile for each kid on the Playstation Network if you want to play multiplayer, but after that we haven't had any hitches.

This game has made it possible for a person to run away with their imagination. Hours of fun, building and creating!!!

This game is fun and there is lots to explore and build. We have 9 and 11 year old players and they have mainly been exploring all the worlds. Some are just previews of additional worlds you can purchase, but it's fun to them. We have not purchased additional worlds, but there is so much to do in the game we do not forsee needing to do that anytime soon.

I love Minecraft! I waste so much time playing this thing! At first, I was playing with the Pocket Edition, but when I got PS4 version, I was amazed how much better it was compared to the Pocket Edition! I would recommend this to anyone, because anyone could get addicted to this game easily!

Best edition of Minecraft yet, the draw distance is improved making you feel like you are in a great big new world, all the great Minecraft that you know and love is there! If you want next generation minecraft it has arrived! I do wish it was crossbuy and interacted with the vita version better.

My older daughter has been teaching her little sister how to play. It's been fun watcher them build entire worlds in the game! It's like LEGO without the mess. It's also teaching them some spatial awareness and lets them be creative in ways that physical toys simply can't do. Awesome game!

I love this game, survival is a blast and when you get sick of that there is creative mode. I use creative to recreate old 8-bits I use to play when I was little and invite friends over to play through them. I also create new games of my own. Also a great distraction for the little ones. They can destroy and build all they want and the monsters are more adorable than scary that you don't have to worry about nightmares. Its a wonderful game, brings back childhood memories of playing with Lego's without the pieces to step on or not having enough of the pieces to build. Plus the new extended render distance allows you to enjoy your creations from further away, and the auto save is constantly saving so no more lost content if your system crashes, but that's the best part, it doesn't crash like the older console versions did seemingly every time you found diamond. I could go on forever about this game, even though it is so simple, but extremely fun. Great fun for everyone!

Minecraft can be enjoyed on so many levels. Whether you want to create a masterpiece of a city, or just want to run around smashing blocks, chopping trees, and punching pigs, the potential for fun is there. This PS4 version runs flawlessly, and the price is right. Buy it and enjoy!

If you enjoy building and creating things then this game is for you. Sure the graphics look like they are from the 80's but that makes it even better. My kids and I have spent many hours just exploring the beautiful world, building houses and reshaping landscapes. Very easy to use.
