I like this kind of shooter game and it was fun to have a partner. I liked the premise of the invasion and then taking over of indiviuals. Handling the weapons was easy and then changing to different ones was helpful.

It is an older game so it does not have the graphics or gameplay that you can expect from a new game but still pretty fun

this game is only single player - I was hoping it was online play as well

This game has gotten some flack. I can see why. It was a PS3 launch title and really didn't show off what the system could do AI and graphics wise. You can't depend on your AI backup to save you (course your alone most of the time), and the graphics are very rough with a lot of pop in. But the story is good and the characters have been decently fleshed out. It sucks though that the cut scenes are black and white still photos, I guess to make it feel like the 1940's, but its unique non the less. The saving grace is this game is an absolute blast split screen Co op. My girlfriend wanted to try a FPS. We stuck in MW3 but the split screen in that isn't fun. Has nothing to do with the campaign. Just stacking g kills. This takes you through the campaign and she really liked it. The control are a little off of you're used to MW or Battlefield, but ifs still fun. Give it a try. Resistance 2 and 3 got very good reviews, bit unfortunately they took Co op out of Resistance 2 but its back in 3. Pick it up for cheap now and play with a friend. You wont be disappointed.

At the launch of the Playstation 3, there was only a select few games you could choose from. Most of them were sports games, the others were Call of Duty 3 and RESISTANCE. I went with RESISTANCE, and did not regret it. The graphics are a bit dated for the Playstation 3, but that's not an issue since True Gamers do not just care about the Gfx. This game also allows you to co-op the entire Single Player campaign, and that's the main reason I recommend this game. The online servers have been shut down for all the RESISTANCE titles, so if you are looking for online MP, look else where.

Good shooter. Well worth what I paid. I don't regret it.
