      This was my first outing into Megaten series and I felt that it exceeded my expectations and the setting in the future was really good for this game!

      If you've never played a SMT game before, they're rather serious titles in tone. This game is very refreshing compared to the more standard RPG fare in which you're a determined (and boring) young boy off to save the world. Check it out.

      As being one of the first 3DS game I've bought, it really set the standard of what kind of rpg I wanted to see on the system. The tone of the story is quite dark and leaves you thinking more deeply about the decisions you have to make. The music is also great as it ranges from creepy to something that sounds like it's from the 80's. The battle system is simple as it's turn-based with you getting the advantage when exploiting the demon's weaknesses. Speaking of demon's, you can recruit them into your party and even fuse them together to make a stronger demon. A very great 3DS title that any rpg gamer should try.
