My summary says it all. You totally get immersed in the Star Wars Galaxy as soon as you start playing this game but, it just gets repatitious very fast. The lack of customization makes it feel like they cut corners in that department. No weapon mods and only character head swap outs for player customization. Heroes/Villains are fun to play as, but are very basic with only 3 special moves each. For the extra $$$ you can get the season pass for new maps and heroes/villains quarterly/yr. I did not buy the season pass and am glad I saved the cash. The 1st installment had a poor choice of the new hero/villain add. For those who played the previous BF2, this game is nothing compared to it. Game developers have decided to keep this Star Wars game to cover III through VI. With that, it restricts them from adding iconic heroes/villains like Darth Maul, Count Dooku, Mace Windu, etc. Unless they make their downloadable content free, select better heroes/villains and bump up the customization, I would NOT recommend this game to a friend or anyone. The fans are speaking out online about this game missing crucial components. The problem is, EA and Dice seem to want to keep pulling along these fans, bleeding out their wallets, having them hope something better can be downloaded in the future.

I got a chance to get in on the Beta of this game, and loved every minute of it. Even if you're not a star wars fanatic, this is worth picking up!

Graphics and in game dialog is supurb. Now if I could just beat my 10 year old to the console maybe he wouldn't beat me in every head to head...

Really fun and not to mention the most gorgeous game yet. I hate the fact that they didn't put more content and straight hero modes in the game

Pre-ordered this for my son. Quick, no-hassle pick up on release date. He loves the game, and so do I. If only I could beat him once in a while!

battlefront its pretty to look at but eventually becomes boring. for 60 dollars you expect more content

It looks and feels like Star Wars and is a lot of fun to play. However, I wish I would've picked it up at $40 because of the limited content.

i thought the graphics and gameplay were very good. Real star wars fans will love this game. I just wish there was a single player campaign.

Not an overly deep game, but for fans of Star Wars that just want to run around it is great fun. Only real downside is lackluster solo play.

My boys, 9 & 11, have barely taken a break from playing this since they opened it on Christmas morning. Just being able to be Vadar, Luke and Han in a video game gives 4+ stars, the graphics and sound make it a 5 star game!

Purchased the II version and couldn't resist getting the I for only 20. Outdated by today's standards but fun just the same.

My son was wanting this game ever since they announced it. He loved the first battlefront they made and this one is even better having online battles. great game even though a lot of people are saying bad reviews about it.

I had to take off one star since there are no space battles and no real single player campaign, but the multiplayer on this game is great.

This seems like a no-brainer and after playing the demo, a must buy. Very shallow gameplay but who cares you are playing in the Star Wars universe. Sound is amazing all the effects you expect are there and it's Awesome..

It's great to be able to play as the heroes and use the force. I think the graphics are great and I have a great time playing with my son.

Game play was pretty good. Not much of a campaign game ... just all out multiplayer or against AI.

this game is really fun. If it had a single player mode I would have given it 5 stars. Easily the best looking game on any home console.

All this game needed was a store mode to make it complete. Graphics are one of the best I've seen this far on next gen. Would recommend

If you are a starwars fan this game might appeal to you. Graphics is good and couple of action sequence is good. Mainly for online play.
