This game is awesome. At launch there was alot of missing content but they have since then released alot of free content like extra game modes and maps. I really enjoy the Fighter Squadron which is kind of like the X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter series. There is no campaign but there are several single player/split screen Arcade Style missions.

Pros: Most realistic graphics on a video game. Can be confused for real life. The gameplay is this old fashioned run and gun mechanics thats so easy to play and so relaxing. The maps are very well balanced and everything is fair and both sides can win. Physics engine is so well put together and flying is one of my favorite way to kill every single peace of rebel scum. Cons: To get the full experience, they want you to pay 50 dollars for 4 DLCs..... So to get the full experience you're going to need $110. Thats not fair to ask for $60 and not have a full game... There is no campaign also.... The game is not completed and maybe worth 40 bucks

What can I say, I have been a Star Wars fan for a long time and have wanted to play this game forever. The immersion is great, the gameplay is fun, and the sound is incredible. Very fun to jump in and kill some stormtroopers!

I love Star Wars so there was no way I wasn't buying this game! The online play is fun, and the regular game is fun and intense to gather all the points. You have to put in some time but it's a lot of fun!! "You Rebel Scum!"

I bought this as a Christmas present for my husband and since then he has played it a lot and, I admit, I have as well. It's different from other games I've played. You're not going through a story or anything like that. Instead you have a series of missions you can accomplish. My husband and I like the two-player missions where you are basically trying to survive until you are evacuated. The online version is also fun, but follows the same principle. You play with others and you alternate playing as rebels and as storm troopers. I'm not giving it 5 stars because it is a very difficult game. My husband has played a lot of games like this and he said that he finds it a little more difficult than others. Overall, however, it is a ton of fun and is a little addicting.

I love star wars and really enjoyed the first 2 games on the original xbox but I had doubts about this one because of EA and there's no true campaign but I love it!!

This game has no campaign. It's terribly disappointing, because the multiplayer is fantastic, the graphics are great, and it supports local 2 player. What happened?!

Excellent foundation of what was a previous original Xbox favorite. A more detailed story mode and better coop missions would make this a 5-Star. Online is the best and the Star Wars universe never looked so good

I'm really terrible at FPS games but I love Star Wars and I have a lot of fun playing the game. It's not too hard, the vistas are beautiful and multiplayer feels balanced. The lack of single player is a bit of a downer, but multiplayer is fast paced and fun with something for even inexperienced players. A good game!

This game is really fun to play. I love the multiplayer aspect, but was really disappointed that there wasn't more of a campaign to it. Wish I would have done a little bit more research. 4/5 stars for gameplay.

Battlefront offers excellent multiplayer and a wide variety of game types. There is, however, no formal campaign--a major shortcoming in my opinion. Nonetheless, Battlefront is a must own for Star Wars fans.

This was a gift for my husband for Christmas. He enjoys playing this game very much but it has become more of a party style game when we host our dinner parties. My sister's husband loves this game and we bring it out for him to play when he comes over. I would recommend this game if you're a Star Wars fan.

The graphics are amazing and the multiplayer is really fun, best graphics of any game that has come out this year. The only problem that this game has that I can think of is that there is a lack of content.

This is one awesome game. The graphics are incredible, it is so fun to play in the Star Wars universe. The single player is great, but the mayhem in a large PVP battle just can't be beat. I'm not all that good at PVP to start, but I still get a lot of enjoyment from simply being in the Star Wars experience.

Awesome game. Incredible visuals- fantastic sound mixing- fast paced fun. But don't buy this unless you really want to fully invest in an online multiplayer experience. That's where this game shines.

At first I was concerned because there was no true campaign but I love the multiplayer. There are several types of games and maps. I also like how you can use troops, x-wings, tie fighters, walkers, etc. on the same game! This is a definite purchase for people that love to play multiplayer games!

I bought Battlefront out of sheer fanboyism alone and I'm not ashamed to admit it. But boy am I glad I did! Multiplayer is so much fun. Constant action, great balance, awesome game modes. Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys a shooter with stunning visuals and fun, smooth, balanced gameplay.

Im a big star wars fan and i am happy with this purchase. This game doesnt have a campaign, but it balances out with many multiplayer modes and co op missions. Im looking forward to more dlc.

If you love Star Wars, you will love this...for about half an hour. This is without a doubt the best looking and sounding Star Wars game ever, and one of the prettiest games of this console generation. But do not let the looks fool you. This game is as deep as a mudpuddle in the middle of the Sahara. The single player option consists of a handful of lazy, repetitive training missions. The multiplayer has some standard modes: A CTF; Walker Assault, which is reminiscent of Rush from BFBC2; Death Match. Some, like Heroes v Villains, could be good except for balance issues. The Dark Side heroes (Vader, Fett, Palpatine) are absurdly more powerful than the Light (Luke, Leia, Han) - the heroes rarely win this one. Fighter Squadron has potential, but ultimately is just as boring as anything else. Little variation in maps - all have features on the ground to zoom through while picking up health, but there are no maps with significant obstacles to fly around. No trench run. No Mon Cal cruisers or Star Destroyers to avoid and weave through. Worse, the hero ships that can be picked up (Falcon, Slave I) are even more over-powered than the heroes on the battlefield. It's possible that a good pilot can get into one near the beginning of a match and not get shot down. They plow through the air taking virtually no damage while killing ships in one or two shots. The dearth of interesting characters, modes, and locales is a clear decision by EA to milk the Star Wars fanbase for as much money as possible by releasing half a dozen waves of paid DLC. Do not buy this game. Borrow it, rent it, whatever. You'll probably soon be bored.

So this is coming from a pretty big Star Wars fan. I have played Star Wars games since the mid 90s. Seeing a new Battlefront title made me excited. Don't let it fool you. Battlfront 1 and 2 are better than this game. Make no mistake. This game is beautiful. Absolutely gorgeous. The armor suites, the vehicles, the maps. All great. However I wish they would have spent even half the time they took on making it look good developing game play. There is no story mode, no space battles, no galactic conquest. For $60 you get online gameplay (that you have to pay for PS+ of Live for to get) and a handful of boring local missions that have no plot and glitch out (always fun playing survival and having probe droids stuck in walls and such). Its very annoying. As per the usual EA games, everything is online based. The first three weeks of the game EA's servers were down, so you paid $60 for nothing. Even local missions can't save locally. Super annoying. Should have figured though given EA's stance with other games. The season pass is also a joke. As of writing the season pass is $50 and so far hasn't been fleshed out with details. I know a lot of fans have already given another wad of money for unknown content, but I have been waiting to see if the new stuff is worth while. Its a beautiful game. But its worth more like $20 or $30. If you can get it cheap, you probably will enjoy it. If you want full price, wait a while and get the compulsory "Game of the Year" edition that will come out sometime later with all the DLC. Maybe it will make the $60 pricepoint worth it. Until then, I am already bored with my purchase.
