First off, I have about 300 hours logged in Terraria for the PC, so I really enjoy playing the game. It never seems to get old. I tried the XBOX ONE version for my son (1st grader) who plays on iPad, and definitely can't handle all the controls on the PC just yet. Graphics are great on a 4k TV. Zooming in and out is possible to adjust the amount of the world you see to your liking. Zoomed out is great for exploring, while zooming in gives you better view for crafting and building. The controls map well in my opinion from the PC counterpart. Definitely easier that dealing with the game on an iPad, but that is expected. Only thing that's a little clunky is moving items from your inventory and dumping them in chests. As for the gameplay, it's Terraria! It's great! Fun filled sandbox environment with crafting and building that will keep you entertained for hours. What's not to love?

I bought this version after completing the PC version about a year ago. My friend plays this one and I figured I'd give it a shot. The basics of the game are the same but the bosses are slightly different. I love this game for both platforms. Once you start playing, it's extremely hard to stop. I was up late a couple times because I was stuck playing this game! PS. It looks great on a 3440x1440 monitor even on xbox!

I bought this game for my son and he absolutely loves it. I really approve of this game because it allows one to be creative, and I also feel it's a very interactive game. Great game in my opinion.

My daughter loves this game on her tablet so she was excited to get a chance to play it on a console with a controller. Needless to say, it doesn't disappoint. It captures the mobile experience and tops it with a better control scheme. It's a worthy purchase.

The game is enjoyable. I bought it solely for my son. Another "minecraft" styled game in 2-d. My son saw it on YouTube and got it. It allows some creativity. Make sure you stand close since everything gets small quickly.

Tried this game on tablet and smartphone, but now being able to use a controller to play, it becomes so much faster and creative. Wish there was a more fluid zoom function, but the graphics are great for what the game is. Very fun and perfect for all ages

I love this game, especially when playing with other people on the computer. The port to xbox 1 was a little less than outstanding. The game play is smooth and I enjoy the idea of couch coop with it. In fact the couch coop was the reason I bought it. However, the screen with only one player already makes everything too small and hard to adjust to. Whenever playing with other people and the screens get even smaller, it leaves more to be desired. I felt like this game could have been vastly improved if there was just a zoom in feature.

This game is completely underrated. Has a bit of RPG feel and a lot of little quests, enemies, and bosses to defeat. Love the online multiplayer to help and get help from others.

My son plays this on his tablet so figured he would enjoy it on a game system. It’s a little different than the tablet version but he still likes it.

My 9yr old and soon to be 7yr old just love it! True story: when taking it home from the store, my 9yr old (daughter) actually hid it, telling me that she couldnt let her brother see it, cos then he'd want to play it all the time. Anyway - its good fun, its easy, its low graphics, its playable, and yes I'd recommend it.

Bought his game for my daughter for her Xbox one. She has it for Xbox 360 but wanted it for her Xbox one because it has additional features for it on the Xbox one version like being able the label the chests you find with any name you choose. She loves the game and plays it all the time! I like it for her because it allows her to be creative making her own worlds & helps with organization skills.

Great game. Very fun with its to achieve. Downside is playing two players is hard viewing even with larger tv.

Bought this game for my 10 yr old son and he had a blast playing it. You can play for hours and hours.

my kids have it already on their ipads, so it was a no brainer to get this version. this allows them to play 1-4 players locally.

I think my kids have this game and Minecraft on their tablets and their xbox ones. They seem to play it alot and really like it

Works great. Kids play it and like it. Not sure it's one of their favorites but we've been spending a lot of time outside.

My son absolutely loves this game! Great graphics and appropriate for any age! The whole family loves playing this game:)

I like this game because I can kill a lot of monsters and do a lot of exploring.
