It has been fun to experience Skyrim with even better graphics, smoother integration of the expansion story lines and access to the Mods only available on PC previously. This version seems far less buggy than the original, and the quick save feature alone greatly adds to the gameplay.

This game is everywhere, but on XBOX, it has a lot of mods and gives it great replay value.

My son wanted this game for Christmas. He said he's been waiting his whole life for it.

One of the best games ever made. You can play this for days and never get bored.

I played SKYRIM a long time ago on xBox 360 and have wanted to play it again for some time now. When I saw it was available on xBox One, I rush out and got 2 copies, one for myself and one for my son. We both have been playing it regularly and are loving it. Even though it's my second time through a lot of the content, it had been so long it's still new. For my son, he is in awe and his excitement from the game is so fun to hear because one, it's just fun to see him get excited but two, I remember feeling the same way when I first encounter a lot of the game and am reliving it again though him. This is by far one of, if not the, best games of its kind I have played on a console or PC. I highly recommend it to anyone that likes this type of setting. You may encounter a few small bugs but I have not run into anything that makes this game in anyway anything but OUTSTANDING!!!

Graphics are really good and super story rich with lots of side missions

If you’ve never experienced Skyrim, the Special Edition is certainly an adventure you can’t afford to miss. It still includes many of the original version’s bugs, ugly character models, and weak combat animations, but the memorable world benefits hugely from improved lighting and effects. There's also some appeal here if you've played before and want to relive Skyrim with the current generation systems, but you'll be best served by picking up the Xbox One version over the PS4 because of superior mod support. However, there’s no new content on the disc to entice you back if you’ve already played all the DLC, only a new coat of paint.

Hadn’t played Skyrim in a few years, since the 360 tbh. Recently tried ESO and was left cold, but it did make me miss Skyrim something awful. The 4K remaster is a treat, a great excuse to get back to one of the most beautiful worlds in gaming, and the XB1’s faster load times are a huuuuuuuuge change to the playing experience. So glad I picked this up.

The definitive Skyrim experience. Comes with everything (don't forget access to mods as well) and guaranteed to suck dozens of hours of your free time away. Solid game and definitely worth being part of your collection.

Another game I bought on Black Friday that I can hardly get any playing time because of my kids. Looks fantastic in 4K. Heard about it from many other friends who have played it and waited until I got an Xbox One S to purchase/play. Interesting storyline. Game mechanics take some getting used to for new players. Fun so far.

If you don't know already, Skyrim is an open world RPG that you could spend 100s of hours exploring. This version is a step up in graphics over the old 360 and PS3 versions, but still pales a little in comparison to the PC version. If you own both an XBox One, and PS4 this is the version to get. I personally own both versions and prefer this one. While they both look similar, but the XBox version has the edge due to mods. While the PS4 also has mods, they are extremely limited compared to this one. This means no Macho Man dragons on PS4. However if you don't care about mods and own a PS4 Pro, you may want to opt for the enhanced Pro visuals. Either way you're in for a treat buying this game.

It may have originally came out six years ago, but this revised edition of Skyrim includes all the DLC and looks better than ever on Xbox One. Whether new to The Elder Scrolls universe or a newcomer, anyone can honestly get into and enjoy this mythical game.

Having grinded 100+ hours on the original release and all the expansions, I didn't NEED this remastered version. But I WANTED it. And now Iove it. Xbox One version is the best console version as it allows for mods that go beyond using only in-game assets.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition in one of the greatest games ever made.The game is so big and there is so much that you can do in this game that gamers have put 1000 hours of game play into this game. If you didn't play Skyrim when It first came out on Xbox 360 you should pick it up now and if you are like me and played it on Xbox 360 you may want to have fun again on newer system.Also one of the best new things is that Xbox One allows Mods for the game.So if you missed them the first time on pc, you can now get them on a console version.Also all the DLC is includes in the edition.

I really like the visual upgrades (google it to see millions of examples), but mostly I have to admit that I love being able to play with Mods. While they disable achievements for your game, it's amazing to see what's available. I definitely recommend this for Skyrim fans that have played the regular version all the way through, as you can make it quickly to the point in the game where you made one choice and can't go back. Only note is that you can't use a regular Skyrim filesave with this - you have to start the game all over again because technically, this is a different game.

If you are a fan of the Elder Scrolls franchise, you will love Skyrim. It has everything you love about the game. Even if not a fan, check it out! Skyrim has a great balance of several types of gameplay. There is a great story, incredible graphics, plenty of PvE and/or PvP, building and crafting skills as well a as great dose of role-playing. Looking forward to the next edition coming out in the next year or so.

I noticed the updated graphics and smoothness right from the start. With the remastered graphics, dynamic depth of field, screen-space reflections, and new water / snow shaders you get a totally fresh feel to it and you do not notice that it was a game that was written years ago. I feel that the story is in no need to review with all the awards and achievements the original game has received. You will have all the open-world RPG goodness that the original game had along with all the DLC (Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn) plus mods! Yes, mods! As of writing this, xBox One currently has 125 mods that are ready to use. Ranging from adding a few tables and chairs in different inns to allow extra seating, no health regeneration or even realistic carrying weight.

This is the definitive Elder Scrolls game, looking it's best. The Xbox One X Enhanced version is as good as the game will ever look on consoles. Not quite the experience on a top-of-the-line PC, but very close.

One of the best games I've ever played, but I've encountered a couple glitches in a few of the missions where I had to google how to then use a different glitch in order to complete the mission. Can be frustrating at times especially if it's a critical mission. Annoying when all I have to do is pick up an item to complete a side mission, but yet it somehow falls under a bench and now I can't pick it up. ive tried using magic and shouts to move the object to an opening to pick it up but nothing has worked. I had to simply move on from the mission and maybe go back later and try to see if I can complete it at a different time, but that's an example of how annoying it can be at times. All-in-all its a great game with a massive story that you can take in countless directions. However, it takes up a lot of your time so you better come up with a good excuse/story for your girlfriend...if you have one. Lots of fun.
