This is the best Zelda game so far. Nintendo out did themselves with this one. The gameplay and graphics are beautiful. You will have hours of fun exploring the huge open world, doing quests and capturing over 100 shrines. The hardest part about this game is putting down the controller. I spent 10 hours straight playing this on my last day off.

As with most Zelda games this one is fantastic. While the plot doesn't change drastically from the other games, the freedom in the game makes it seem so much more expansive. You can easily spend a majority of your time going around exploring the huge map of Hyrule searching for secrets rather than going through the main story line.

I had never played a Zelda game, but I heard lots of great things about Breath of the Wild so I bought it when I got my Switch (with MK8, of course). This game's open world is totally immersive, the story is engaging, and the game mechanics are ever-evolving to enhanced abilities. It's hands down one of the best games I've played in a long while.

Still in the process of finishing it but it is easily one of the greatest zelda games ever made. I would argue that it is better than even ocarina of time and link to the past. THE HYPE IS REAL!!!! Everything about this game is amazing. From the graphics to the game play, everything about this game is good. THE STORY!!! PHENOMENAL!

Every review you have ever read about this game is true. From the graphics to the music to the storyline this game is an unbelievable experience. There is exploration, puzzle solving, melee and ranged combat, overwhelming odds to overcome, and a whole new style of dungeon. Truly deserving of the term "Masterpiece". Add it to your collection today.

I love that there is finally an open world Zelda game! This game is fantastic. One thing I missed was the overall Zelda feeling of the game, though. There are no heart pieces to obtain, are no real dungeons to fight, etc. Very strange to have to cook food to regain hearts and having weapons that break. Overall, though, I really did enjoy the game.

I had high hopes for this game, and even I didn't expect it to be this good. The world is huge, there's plenty to do and even after the main story is over I find myself running around the world just experimenting and finding new things all the time. I absolutely love this game, and the ability to take it with you anywhere on the Switch is amazing.

This is an open world Zelda game. I like the exploration elements. And it satisfies my hunter gathering instinct too. You can find ingredients to make food at a campfire for a health recharge. This type of gameplay is totally new to Zelda games. I did not like the fact that weapons break when you use them. I also did not like the lack of things to do in the open world( it was really spread out). The graphics are beautiful and the music is memorable too. This is a good game just not my favorite. You may like it if you like Zelda games and open world games too.

I'm going to be honest here, i have never been a fan of zelda. I have owned basically every nintendo system including handhelds since i could walk lol. I know zelda is a big deal for nintendo and over the years i have bought a few zelda games here and there to try and get into the series but it just never clicked. Fast forward to now breath of the wild comes out, all the hype and talk about how great the game is oh it's game of the year and all that, so I'm like okay let's give it another shot. I must say i am very impressed so far (30 hours in) it goes to show you that the best graphics don't make a game, the story and world and little attention to detail just blew me away. I'm not gonna go into too much detail about the game (that would take forever lol) but this game has made me like zelda alot more. I have already had more than my money's worth with this game, a must have for switch owners.

I have to admit that I didn't play Zelda on the Game Cube or the Nintendo 64, and if they had a version for the Wii I skipped it, but this one was fantastic. I broke down and bought the Switch solely for this game and let me tell you, I was not disappointed. I personally believe Link 2 on the original Nintendo is still the best Zelda Game, but darn if this isn't right there with it. The graphics are obviously way above anything Nintendo ever released in the past, but the weapons and the challenging monsters makes the game a complete masterpiece. I solved the game without completing all the side quests, that might be both a good and bad feature, but you can still go back and work on them from an earlier save. I will say it took me a long time to get through the Castle, that was a real challenge. The fact I bought this on sale made the game an absolute steal! If you have never played Zelda or you are not sure if this will measure up with past Zeldas, trust me, it does!

OPEN WORLD ZELDA. This is not a drill! I can finally run around and explore the amazing world of Zelda without quest-y guidelines holding me back. This game is amazingly beautiful and fun to play. It reminds me of a much more cartoony Skyrim (fewer dragons, but waaaaay more guardians who shoot laser beams of instant death at your face). 10/10!

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is such a huge game that I've barely scratched the surface, but even in the early hours the game offers so much to explore. I've spent hours enjoying climbing trees, catching fish, cooking dishes, and the like... Just inhabiting the world is so much fun, to say nothing of the surprises and enemy encounters.

I put well over 100 hours into this game and loved every second of it. The exploration is awesome. The puzzles, combat, graphics, and controls are awesome. It is the best game I have ever played and at 68 years old I've played a bunch of games.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a journey that you create on your own. You are given a huge world to explore, and how you explore it is up to you. My first playthrough took around 50 hours of truly euphoric playing, and I didn't even get half of what was offered in the game! There was still so much left to find by the time I went and fought Ganon. If you decide to pick this up, I recommend playing at a pace that furthers the experience, even if that means not going for everything. Most people that have played the game that go for everything end up disliking it, but this game wasn't designed to be 100% completed. The reason there is so much in the game is so when you carve a path for yourself through the world, there are things to find along the way, making your journey full of discovery and wonder. People all too often make the journey about getting everything and completely ruin their experience with the game.

Zelda Breath of the Wild is a great games that is so much fun to play. With story mission, side missions, and memory quest you can easily make the story your own. There is no way to play wrong. Amiibo are super usefully in this game, even the non Zelda ones give you stuff.

Great game. My 11 year daughter wanted this for her birthday. Big fan of open world and this game was very easy to get into. Controls are smooth and provides a great variety of things to do/accomplish in game. Looks great on the switch as well as on the TV

This game is worth the price. The story, the interactivity. You know you can use VR with this game? If you have a switch you must have this game. Even my six year old girl loves this game and plays it. She doesn't play it to advance the story but loves to catch horses.
