Is very skeptical to think that an open world Zelda game will work. But I was pleasantly surprised. I haven't really picked up a Zelda game since the wind Waker on the GameCube. And they sell the game is just as good if not better. Hours of fun to be had with this version of Zelda

SUCH A GOOD GAME
Ok this game is amazing
It’s does such a good job at being a open world rpg / what ever it is
If you grind you might find the final boss too easy
But other than that it a good game

I originally purchased this game for my Wii U and have recently repurchased for my Switch. It looks great on my Switch with the 1080 output (compared to the 720 Wii U)! Great story and game that will have me entertained for hours.

At first sight of the world I fell in love with how much freedom it offered from letting you head straight into the story to allowing you to explore every inch of the world. The world is somewhat empty, but it is vast and it fits when considering the context of the game's story coupled with the game's soundtrack choices. Traversing the world with only a few melodies while having to survive by gathering materials was very memorable. The content of the game is arguably with its' physics and how it plays when it is applied into gameplay and the puzzles which fit perfectly. Played it constantly and clocked in around 100+ hours of exploring and have plenty of time ahead of me.

One of the best open world games available. Although you shouldnt expect hd textures like RDR2, BOTW is visually stunning in its own way. The gameplay is extremely fun and the story is compelling.

This game is a true open world with no hand holding. You start with the entire map at your finger tips. There is a steep learning curve at the beginning of the game but once you get past the great plains you are introduced to one of the best adventure games Nintendo has created!

OMG. So I was not thinking the little o switch would pull it off. best game ever. I already have over 120 hrs and have not beaten it yet. sooo much in this game its ridiculous. And the dlc has not even released yet.

When I say there’s a fault it’s only one thing. I don’t like the fact that your weapons/gear degrades so quickly. I would like an option to repair items. But other than that, this is one of the best adventure games I’ve ever played. Beautiful and extraordinary gameplay.

Great Game, buy this first when you get the switch. I say this because it is very fun, story driven without too much lore pushed in your face, and not at all linear. if you're buying a nintendo switch, get this game first if you have to have a choice. i love LOVE this game!

Having previously written Nintendo off, I took a chance and got the Switch along with Zelda -- and it feels great to be back. Zelda is open world this time around, and it truly just works, feels right, and keeps me wanting to play when I get the free time. A must own on Switch!

Great open world game. A lot to explore without being restricted to strict pathways. Wonderful adaptability to player where there are multiple ways of solving shrines/puzzles. Many optional features to enhance gameplay like horse/creature riding, korok seeds, shrines, etc.

This game is really an amazing iteration in the Zelda franchise. Bigger than Sky rim, with awesome mechanics difficult enemies, and really cool puzzles. Only con in my mind is the fragility of weapons and how often they break. But there are so many around it isn't a huge deal.

First, the game came super fast. It is challenging and more open-ended than previous Zelda games I have played. There is an element to using your intuition and interacting with the environment which is reminiscent of Minecraft and GTA. In fact, I would say that besides the old SNES Zelda, this one feels the most open-ended. The weapon system is a bit more easy to handle than previous Zelda games to me.
Secondly, I like this Zelda a bit more than the old N64 Ocarina of Time and a Link to The Past. I was surprised that at my age a game like this keeps me engaged enough to keep playing. Nintendo did a great job on this one!
The only complaint about the game so far is the angle-of-view. It can be a little tedious adjusting the angle of view all of the time.

I've never had the opportunity to play a Legend of Zelda game entirely like I have this one. I've completed the entire storyline plus the side quests....still I keep coming back. It's beautiful and incredibly hard to put down. A must buy for open world gamers.

I recently bought this game as I am new to Zelda but have always heard a lot about it. I am so happy I made this purchase. The story line is interesting and the gameplay is incredible.
