I've never had the opportunity to play a Legend of Zelda game entirely like I have this one. I've completed the entire storyline plus the side quests....still I keep coming back. It's beautiful and incredibly hard to put down. A must buy for open world gamers.

Easily my favorite Zelda game of all time. Rich story, fun gameplay mechanics, cool puzzles, and so much freedom to do everything how/when you want. You can go straight to the final boss from the get go pretty much lol. Amazing game!

I've loved Zelda (except #2) since Legend of Zelda. This game is no exception. It's open world, which I love. The graphics are fantastic. I haven't gotten very far, but what I've seen so far still makes me recommend this highly.

I've followed this game since its first reveal in 2014(?) and was so excited when it was released in March. Finally got my hands on it last week and it's a miracle that I am spending the time reviewing it and not playing. It is such a breath of fresh air to be able to go and do anything, but they have found a way to not make it daunting. I've never been able to get too far in either of the Xenoblade games because they have just seemed TOO big. The combat and controls are great and the world is full of life. I have loved every minute, even when I get stuck on a puzzle, because I know that that I have the skills (in-game, at least) to do it. I don't want it to end, and I still feel so far from the ending if I'm able to do everything.

I'm taking a lot of flack from friends because it took me 20 hours to get out of the first area, but I was going for completion. Then I got into Hyrule... And the map is HUGE! I see several hours of quality game play in my future. Definitely worth the money.

Bought this game for my 7 year old son. I've played Legend of Zelda many long lost years ago and I remember how fun it was. Now, I'm the one playing this. Visually entertaining and story will draw you in. My son is stuck and doesn't want to turn off his nintendo.

I recently bought this game as I am new to Zelda but have always heard a lot about it. I am so happy I made this purchase. The story line is interesting and the gameplay is incredible.

I decided to get a switch because of quarantine even though I’m not much of a gamer, and This is the first game I’ve played in ten years !, I have to say, I’m really hoping that other open world games I get in the future don’t disappoint me because I’m convinced this is one of the best !; I have about 120 hours and still have much to do :D I keep finding new stuff, and theirs a lot of tasks to keep me occupied. This game is also very beautiful !, all the pretty landscapes you see can also be explored, and I find that really amazing !, When starting I hated fighting, but as time went on I found myself enjoying it more and more, and I’m now trying to fight harder enemies for the fun of it ^^ I would really recommend this game !, it’s so worth the price !

This is unlike all Zelda games before it but exactly in the same vibe of what ever Zelda game lover is looking for. Tons of exploration, puzzles, and intuitive control.

This game is worth buying the switch if you are on the fence. I was hesitant to buy the console until I played this game first hand and it makes it all worth it. This game is very well done with endless quests and things to do that will keep you busy for a long time, maybe the better part of a year if you play it often. Great graphics and game mechanics and it works brilliantly with the pro controller. I mostly only play this game in docked mode or using the kickstand with it propped up on a table using the pro controller. Because of the battle scenes using a few complicated "get-used-to" controls, it can be hard to efficiently play this game in handheld but it looks better on a tv anyways. If you know someone who does not have a switch, I can assure you this game is a beast on the switch and you should gift it to them. Phenomenal game.

Breath of the Wild is one of the best video games I've played. The open world approach and the non-linear story line helps make the game challenging and immersive. The Switch graphics look amazing and I'm looking forward to investing a ton of more time in this game

At first i was hesitant because I read that weapons can break and its open world. For a LoZ game it didn't make sense to me...until I decided to go with it and play it! The game is simply amazing and holds the Zelda name strong! Definitely in my top 3 Zelda choices.

30+ hours in and I've only done a handful of missions. I can't help running around exploring. Graphics are beatiful and combat is very smooth. Story is amazing so far and all the cute scenes are gorgeous. Also love that you can change voices to Japanese with subtitles.

This is the reason i bought a Switch for and i don't regret it one bit. This is probably my favorite videogame of all time. Completely open world endless amounts of gameplay. A must have for any video game fan.

This game hits on all cylinders. Not even 4 hours into it and and I'm already hooked. This is a game you want to be stuck with on a long flight! An open world with so much to do, the non-linearity game play puts you in full control. Think GTA but in the world of Zelda!

Don't hesitate just buy it! Breath of the Wild is a breath of fresh air for the Legend of Zelda series. Open world, tweaked gameplay, beautiful graphics, thousands of things to do everywhere you turn. This is a must own game for Switch and Wii U owners!

The best game available on the Switch! It's a little harder than previous Zelda games, since the open world let you wander into very dangerous places. But you also have the freedom to avoid areas you are having trouble with until you are stronger.
