zelda breath of the wild has its own spin on the open world genre and it is one of the best games out this year, difficulty is a little steep for newcomers

You can totally lose yourself in this game. Amazing open world, awesome puzzles... I have no idea how Nintendo's going to top this. It should be rated the best video game of the decade.

It's worth picking up this game, whether you're fairly knowledgeable with the series or a beginner. Long hours of open world and great graphics with great gameplay.

This is like a Skyrim meets Zelda love child. You are able to explore the world at your pace, while still playing in the classic puzzle action Zelda style.

This is the best game I have ever played. Intense battles, large open world, weeks and weeks of exciting fun times with Zelda. Both challenging and intelligent game design. Best game for all Zelda game

This game it's the most beautiful game I have seen by Nintendo. The free roam capability is my favorite part. It's all most like GTA if it were in hyrule.

It's like a skyrim world with a much better engine and polish meets dark souls, the witcher 3 and Zelda. The frame rate can be a little jumpy at times but I do not feel it detracts from the gameplay at all.

As a casual zelda gamer, I always take all the perfect scores these titles seem to get with a grain of salt, there have been some times (windwaker, a link between worlds) where zelda games feel authentic and natural, this is one of these times.
straying away from the usual zelda formula, serves this game just right. the open world is huge and there's lot to do, the physics are amazing, and the shrines can be fun and challenging.
this game takes cues from Zelda itself, skyrim and even shadow of the colossus, what's more impressive, it makes it work in an amazing way.
in a few words, this game deserves all the accolades it's been receiving, it may not be the best game of all time, but it sure comes close

Such an awesome game! Beautiful and immersive... Really brings the classic Zelda feel back with puzzles and the combat. Open works is so much fun, could just roam around for hours.

First off, this game is incredible. A huge open world to explore and do whatever you want and go wherever you want. Being able to play on the go and on the TV makes it even more enjoyable. I have put probably close to 100 hours into this and still haven't found everything.
The negative on this is the dungeons. There aren't any. Instead of dungeons you are tasked to take back control of "devine beasts" which are basically dungeon replacements. Being an avid Zelda fan for years and years, this was kind of a disappointment. The story line is a little weak, but that is expected with an open world game. Just a couple negatives, but those in no way ruin the game. Still one of my favorites of all time.

Every Zelda game that came before BOTW now feels like they have been stepping stone for this installment. I don't want to spoil anything because I want you to expirence the game for yourself. I will say that the weapons breaking has been a moot point for players. In my opinion the system is designed to make you immerse yourself in combat. I approach battles in different ways. I sneak I use outside objects. This is the first Zelda game that doesn't feel like a sword and shield hack n slash. I know that sounds harsh but during my travels battling never became dull for me.

This was the first Zelda game, I decided to purchase and own Enjoyed majority of this game, but the only thing i disliked was weapons getting destroyed after use. Was not a fan of the end where the game resets you back to Calamity Ganon fight. Other than that I enjoyed the world, ability to climb almost anything, and its minimal hand holding with this game.
