You get to play as (some of) your favorite superheroes and Capcom characters. On the level at which most players are playing the game, the design problems that have rendered the game's competitive state stagnant won't be troublesome, so everyone will be able to enjoy picking a cool team and hitting buttons and doing cool-looking supers and such.

This is a great fighting series, and I'm happy to say part 3 does not disappoint! This has a massive character roster, cel shaded-esque graphics, and hyper fast fighting. You can take the time to learn the moves (and they are awesome, by the way), or you can simply button mash and still have success in your matches. Definitely a must-own.

If you like marvel then you'll like this game. Lots to choose and fight from.

I am having a blast with this game! I was late to the party and never purchased the original non-ultimate version, so the experience was brand new to me. I really enjoy the crazy cast of characters like Frank West and Rocket Racoon. I would easily recommend a purchase.

I enjoyed play this game with friends online. Wish it had more characters.

Each game in the series just gets crazier. I play fighting games but I cannot keep up with this speed :(

Bought this game pre-owned through bestbuy.com. Best deal in the market...

This game when it came out put me in a hard place. I already had purchased the original marvel be Capcom 3 when it launched just about a year before they released this version. It was clearly just an upgrade to the game I owned but Capcom refused to offer it as an upgradeable download to the original. I had bought the dlc characters as well and felt stupid to buy a full game that was simply an upgrade that wouldn't keep and of the data I had worked hard to build up. It took me til the game dropped in price and went on pre-owned before I decided to purchase it. I definitely do love the game and luckily even though none of my data carried over from the previous game the dlc characters came over. Biggest disappointment is that after Disney acquired Marvel they have pulled the option to purchase any dlc content for the game anymore even though the game will prompt you every time you start it up. Wish they made an update to just pull the notification.

This game is just pure fun! The action is so over-the-top it's hard to follow, and it doesn't have the finesse or precision of more serious fighting games like Street Fighter. But it's incredibly fun, especially for comic book fans.

This is a great fighting game to learn. It has easy chain combos and no matter what you do, your character will look cool doing it. It's hard to master, especially against great players. It has a great online community and local tournaments abound if you look for them on the Shoryuken forums.
