Burns on the outside cold in the center

If you buy this, do not follow the directions. They are wrong. It burns in 2 minutes. Actually, it burns on the grids and the outside and it is not burned in the center. Because it cooks to hot, the mix will not be even no matter if you flip it or not.
We had to throw away the first 3 because of the burning. The remaining ones were ok if you do not mind the uneven cooking.
