I wasn't sure what to expect going into Prey but was easily sold on it by the demo available on the PSN store. Inevitably it will be compared to games like System Shock and Deus Ex due to how you build your character and explore the environment but it has its own distinct style. If you are interested in a game that challenges players and also asks you to accomplish tasks without immediately telling you the solution then I think you will have a good time with Prey.

In the era of few single player focused games I am appreciative and happy to support developers putting out quality stories and gameplay. The weapons and mobility of your character makes this game addictive. It was easy to get sucked in from the beginning and the difficulty level is spot on. This game flew under most people's radar but should be taken seriously. It came together well but I dont believe they need another one in the same franchise.

This game originally slipped by me, but I heard about it and gave it a shot and was very happy I did. It plays a lot like the original Bioshock games, which in my book is a good thing. The combat is challenging, and there is a lot to discover and manage, and I am not even very far into the game yet. Im very happy that I picked this up, and I highly recommend it to any fans of the action rpg genre.

This game is good. It shouldn't be called Prey, it has nothing to do with the original. This game feels more like Bioshock mixed with Dishonored. If you like those you will probably like this. The controls took me a bit of tweaking before it felt comfortable. Initially, it was a bit loose. The input has a slight delay but honestly I didn't notice it until I looked for it. The design and artwork is incredible. It's definitely worth playing.

Bethesda is arguably the king of single player, 3rd party games. There is no need to play the last generation of Prey to enjoy this game. If you are a fan of first person shooter single player games this is a great game to pick up. This game is made by Arkane Studios, the makers of Dishonored. While the games are not connected I think that those who enjoyed the Dishonored games will also enjoy this.

After a great opening, the game drops of slightly but is still a great enjoyable experience that will have you on edge throughout. Great shooting mechanics give the game play experience a real kick. Though the original may have had better game play ideas and story this reboot still holds its own.

This game is pretty awesome for game enthusiast. But if you're more of simple gamer, then I would recommend moving past this game. This game, comes with the Pre-order content, but thats about as much of a bonus you have. Mechanics are awesome and story is intriguing but this is a pretty much sandbox-esque dead space, except without the graphic content.

Explore the vast station of Talos 1. Develop skills to repair or damage and unravel the interesting story of who you are and how you got there. The game play feels similar to Bioshock, first-person combat that is not a pure shooter like a Call of Duty game. Game seems to range from 30-50 hours depending on how thorough you are with side quests. Potential plot spoilers if you finish the "December" side-quest early.

The reveals during the first 30 minutes let you know you are in for one interesting ride. The graphics are smooth if not necessarily next gen. The enemies are extremely agile if not particularly imaginative. With that said, the story as it is revealed is just really slick. There are some control issues that should be addressed in an upcoming patch. They are not game breakers but can be a tad annoying.

Alien Isolation, Dead Space and Bioshock are some of my favorite games. I love Sci-Fi and anything space related. If any of those things intrigue you, do yourself a favor and check this one out. Another thing it has one of the most unique and refreshing enemy types I have ever seen.... or “didn’t see”. Lol

I love Sci-Fi games. I love games (and films) involving aliens. Alien: Isolation was extremely disappointing to me. I understand that it was more of a horror-stealth game, and Prey is more combat-focused. But AI was just boring as fuq. Prey has an amazing story, looks great (not just the graphics, but the art direction and design are so beautiful), and the ending will blow your mind. A+ here.

I haven't beaten the game yet, but it is very good so far. Bethesda has always been great with their storylines and Prey follows suit. Lots of mistery and suspense. The aliens are new and creative, giving the game a fresh feel and not your typical sci-fi experience. There's a lot to explore and a lot of ways to play. I can see replaying it again to try different tactics and see what happens.

Saw this game when it was getting hyped up, everyone was getting all excited over demo plays and videos. I wanted to buy it on day 1 but waited. All the reviews gave it 9's and 5 stars. It finally dropped in price so I picked it up for $40 and glad I did. Overall it's an ok game, the mechanics and movement feel choppy. It's your everyday 1st person shooter. It drags in the beginning.

Similar vibe to bioshock set in space - you explore a space ship where things have gone terribly wrong. You can mix weapons powers like bioshock and dishonored, but levels are designed with lots of creative ways to solve challenges like dishonored 2. Story is intriguing science fiction story. Highly recommend if you like this style of game or science fiction stories.

"Prey" is a great game based in outer space. The decisions you make will have a few different impacts as far as the endings are concerned. If you enjoy FPS and sci-fi games you should give this one a try. Explore the space station, and go out into the darkness of space and float around! "Never give up, never surrender." "To infinity and beyond. "Is there air?! You don't know!"

Prey is such a fantastic game that it made me rethink a couple of my choices during its story when I reached the end. I have played it about 60 hours and that was just trying to finish all I could do because I spent the last 9 days when I got it trying to beat it. Honestly if you like some jump scares a fantastic matrix like story and being able to turn into a cup, buy it.

I loved the Dishonored games from Arkane studios. This game has some of the same soul to it, but is so different that one could be forgiven for not seeing the similarities. It is more like Bioshock and Deus Ex, with the way those games reveal story elements through found text and audio files. The RPG-lite system of inventory management and skill trees works pretty well too.

The game is a huge disappointment, its not a bad game but its gameplay and story are very ho hum nothing special. It also can be very difficult at times so if your not a fan of difficult games that may turn you off. Also if your a fan of the original Prey avoid this like the plague it has nothing in common they are connected in no noticeable ways and they play nothing alike.

The story is set on a space station where an alien life form has got free and is busily taking over. It's your job to escape and decide the fate of the station. The game has great motion and a wide variety of weapons and skills to chose from as you progress. It reminded me of Bioshock 1 and Bioshock 2.

Reasons I love this game and recommend: + Great atmosphere + Great stories to discover, many involving NPCs. + Pretty cool plot twists + As easy or challenging as you want it to be + SO MUCH FREEDOM. There are so many ways to solve problems in this game. Cons: - Can't think of any. I hope there is a sequel!
