The game starts off a little slow until you start unlocking abilities. Superb graphics, great story and plenty of scares and suspense.

This game was a blind buy for me. I began playing on Normal difficulty and learned quickly that I would be challenged thoroughly and OFTEN. The only reason I docked a star from the rating was because of how savagely you get beaten early on with nothing but a wrench and a GLOO Gun to slow enemies down. I haven't finished the game, having clocked maybe 6-ish hours into it and progressing at a snail's pace, but I'm enjoying my time so far.

I think I've seen people comparing this game to system shock 2 and I dont think there wrong, it definitely takes a lot of inspiration from that game. The game play can take an hour or two to get used to (the aiming reticle is angled slightly lower on the screen like in Halo) but after you get used to it it's a smooth experience. I said this game can be pretty scary, I should note that I'm a wuss when it comes to this stuff. The scares are almost exclusively jump scares but there aren't a huge amount of them.

Cool game, awesome story and gameplay, definitely not worth the full sixty dollar price though!

Fun game but takes a bit of patience. There's a lot going on and it's easy miss. The action and story are A+

Prey is definitely interesting. The enemies can change into everyday objects in order to hide from you. Plenty of intense moments will be had. The player is also free to solve puzzles anyway they want

This game has an awesome atmosphere. It lulls you into security and then scares you. My favorite type of horror game.

Storyline and graphics are very well designed. Characters and weapons are also ample. Can play this one for hours.

Without really spoiling anything, Prey is game that reminds me quite a bit of a spiritual successor to System Shock 2, or for those that haven't played it, Bioshock. The game gives the player great agency to play the game they want to play and rewards exploration and multiple playthroughs. I've had a couple of crashes/bugs, but nothing that makes the game unplayable. Arkane did a great job of world building and really immersing the player in the world they've created

The story and sci-fi is excellent with great game mechanics. Must have in collection.

The game has a excellent story line plus is very challenging. Highly recommend it if you want a fast pace game.

This is a great game with a controversial development. If you can separate this from what Prey 2 could have been then you will have a great time. You select the gender of the main character at the start and make some choices during the game. I don't want to say much to give the story away but you get cool powers to mess around with along with the first person shooting. This game lends itself to multiple playthroughs so if you are that kind of player pick it up.

It's more open world than the original on xbox360, creepy atmosphere, great story.

In Prey, you awaken aboard Talos I, a space station orbiting the moon in the year 2032. You are the key subject of an experiment meant to alter humanity forever - but things have gone terribly wrong. The space station has been overrun by hostile aliens and you are now being hunted. As you dig into the dark secrets of Talos I and your own past, you must survive using the tools found on the station, your wits, weapons, and mind-bending abilities.

The progression is slow in this game, especially if you like to search for every nook and cranny in the game like me. For that reason, the story progresses quite slowly and the enemies can be pretty one-note in the beginning, but the game is very fun and a great sci-fi game for people who like that genre. It's similar to Dishonored but definitely not a carbon copy. Its a good game.

You need a cheat book to figure out what and where you need to be. I get lost all the time and get irritated.

Excellent story, mechanics, and difficulty. The mood thats set by the games atmosphere is super creepy.
