Massive swirl scratch from manufacturer on the record. Poor quality check before shipping. Prince in amazing, would be disappointed at how this represents his music

Chances are, if you're reading this, you're already either a fan of Prince, or familiar with Purple Rain. It is a five-star, true-classic album, one that you can listen to from beginning to end without skipping tracks. To that end, this modern vinyl version delivers.
However, as others have noted, my LP arrived noticeably warped. Not the worst I've ever seen, but enough to notice as it spins on my turntable. The sound is still good, but the remaster on this album seems as if it has cut a bit off the top-end. The outro to Let's Go Crazy comes across distorted, for example, and sounds like a mess once the kicks from the drum kit get going with the guitar shredding. The ending of The Beautiful Ones, when Prince hits the high notes, comes across a bit sharper and distorted, too.
A pity, as the rest of the album sounds fantastic! Maybe I just got a bad pressing? Regardless, the price is right, as the $20 price point might not even buy you a vintage copy of the album, at today's rates. For that, it's worth it - even if it is less than perfect.
