It drowns out loud music while I am wearing headphones. I have determined that it is the plastic housing around the lower unit. The touch screen is very unresponsive and requires multiple touch attempts to navigate anywhere. the "button" to go from warmup to "start" hardly responds ever. The resistance jump from "9" to "12" is noticeably extreme, making it hard to move up to while exercising. This machine should be a joy, but it is not.

Sorry to see that you were looking for an actual elliptical machine when you purchased the HIIT H7. The H7 is an excellent machine with 5” horizontal and 10” vertical strides, which gives more of a stair climbing experience.

Bounces too much

Defective equipment out of the box
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ordered Proform Carbon HIIT H7 directly from Proform website. Received my brand new Carbon HIIT H7 last week. Upon unboxing, saw that the plastic housing the flywheel was cracked on the right hand side. Called customer support. Got through to a support rep after about 45 minutes and had the replacement part shipped out. Was told to wait for the part to arrive before assembling. Got the part yesterday and assembled it. Turned it on. Now the HIIT trainer's resistance level seems to be stuck at the highest level. Changing it on the panel just changes the readout on the screen and the motor makes some sound - but the resistance simply does not change. Called customer support again. Got through to a support rep after a wait of 45 minutes. Rep is shipping out a resistance motor and setting up an technician visit. Will wait and see how soon and effective the technician visit is. So far this purchase has been a big disappointment. If this is not resolved in a timely manner or if I encounter any more issues, will seriously consider returning it as a lemon.

Can't fix loud squeaking

After about a month it developed a horrible loud creaking squeak near the foot rests. We tried tightening all the bolts and removing the front panel and oiling as these were fixes from the internet. Nothing has helped. I can only use it with headphones on turned up loud. Forget watching TV. Would not recommend.

I checked all the bolts in the stepper (foot) area and they seem to be tight. Noise problem needs to be resolved for good customer support and brand value recognition.
