Really solid treadmill! Just like some other reviews mention, it is a bit narrow, but not horrible! I’m 6’2 and I fit plenty fine on the treadmill! The one thing I will say, if you have the extra money to pay for professional installation, definitely do it! I put it together by myself and it was a bit challenging!

Photos of this product shows a montior screen, but it does not come with that screen.. i mainly decided to get it because of that. Guess i should have dug deeper but shame on best buy for even showing that photo in listing. Also, the treadmill is quite loud when running it at running speed.. not sure if its the motor or the running pad. For $600 i guess you cant complain much and does what its meant for otherwise. Good entry level for now, but i think I would have been better off spending a little more money for a better one.

Very excited about my new equipment. It works really well with the area not too bulky for my limited space. The display is very easy to read and manage. The iFit workouts are convenient and programmable to my specific health goals. Looking foward to my new body.

I like this item it works great. The only thing I didn’t like that is ask you for a membership to usefully and you had to pay monthly. That’s the only thing I did not like about this.
We are glad that your treadmill works great, although we are sorry for any confusion regarding iFIT on this machine. Please know that iFIT is not required in order to use this unit. It can be used in the manual mode without a paid membership.
We consider a three-star rating to be unsatisfactory. If you have any questions regarding your treadmill, please contact us by visiting my.iFIT.com.

I’m extremely happy with this new treadmill. It’s sturdy, quiet, and very easy to set up. The running surface is comfortable, and the speed and incline adjustments are smooth, making workouts feel natural and motivating. I especially appreciate how stable it feels even during faster runs. The display is clear and user-friendly, and it doesn’t take up as much space as I expected. Overall, it’s a great value for the quality and performance—highly recommended for anyone looking to work out at home.

The ProForm Carbon TL Treadmill is an excellent choice for anyone setting up a home gym on a budget. It truly delivers on value for the price, offering a solid, well-built machine without the high-end cost.
The performance is very good for walking, jogging, and moderate running. The ProShox cushioning is a nice touch that keeps impact comfortable on your joints. While no treadmill is silent, this model's 2.6 HP motor is quieter than many competitors in this price range, making it perfectly suitable for home use—you can still enjoy music or a show without blasting the volume.
I especially appreciate the SpaceSaver folding design for easy storage and the 10% incline capability, which adds a great level of challenge to any workout. It's user-friendly, and you can easily bypass the iFit subscription to use it manually. If you’re looking for a dependable, affordable, and feature-rich treadmill for consistent workouts, the Carbon TL is a smart investment.

I've been using this treadmill for a while now, and I absolutely love it. It's sturdy, smooth, and runs quietly, which makes it perfect for home use. The features are user-friendly and exactly what I need for my daily workouts. The design is sleek and doesn't take up too much space, and I really appreciate the built-in programs that help keep me motivated. Definitely one of the best purchases I've made for my home gym!

Bought this 2 days ago and picked it up at the store. OMG it is mad heavy so make sure you get at least 3 people and a pick up truck because this won’t fit in a sedan. I decided to pick it up to avoid scratches and damages from shipping. Overall great treadmill and very easy to use! It is massive like a commercial treadmill very sturdy and good inclines!

After a year, still works great and helps me exercising during winter months specifically.
Has exactly the features l need and love: different incline percents, multiple speeds, it’s foldable, has wheels to move it, sturdy, strong, different data display, etc., all at a great price.

If you’re searching for a high-quality treadmill that balances affordability, functionality, and performance, the ProForm Carbon TL Treadmill might just be the perfect fit for you. After extensive use, I’ve put this treadmill through its paces (literally!), and here’s everything you need to know—from setup to performance, features, durability, and whether it’s worth the investment.
Unboxing & Setup: A Smooth Start
The ProForm Carbon TL arrived well-packaged, with clear assembly instructions. While setting up a treadmill can always be a bit of a hassle due to its size, I found this one relatively straightforward. Two people are recommended for assembly due to the weight, but the step-by-step guide made it a smooth process.
Tip: If you’re not comfortable assembling large fitness equipment, consider professional assembly. Otherwise, a power drill can speed up the process.
Performance: Smooth, Quiet, and Reliable
The 2.6 CHP motor delivers a surprisingly smooth and quiet performance, making it perfect for home use without disturbing others. It handles walking, jogging, and moderate running (up to 10 mph) comfortably, but if you’re a seasoned runner pushing long distances or high speeds, you may want a treadmill with a stronger motor.
Incline & Speed Adjustments: The 0-10% incline range offers great versatility for intensifying workouts, and the quick adjustment buttons make transitions seamless. It mimics outdoor running conditions well, adding variety to workouts.
Quiet Operation: Compared to other treadmills in its price range, this one runs fairly quietly, allowing you to watch TV or listen to music without overpowering background noise.
Console & Technology: User-Friendly & Engaging
The console is simple but functional, featuring:
- A clear LCD display that tracks speed, distance, time, calories, and heart rate.
- QuickSpeed buttons for instant adjustments.
- iFIT compatibility (comes with a 30-day free membership) for interactive workouts.
iFIT Experience: If you love guided workouts, iFIT is a fantastic feature, offering immersive global runs and studio classes. However, after the trial, a subscription is required—so keep that in mind if you prefer a free, built-in workout program.
Tip: If you don’t want iFIT, you can still use the treadmill manually without a subscription.
Build Quality & Durability: Sturdy Yet Compact
Space-Saving Design: The foldable frame with EasyLift Assist is a game-changer for small spaces. It folds up easily for storage, making it ideal for apartments or home gyms with limited room.
Stability: The ProShox cushioning system reduces impact on joints, making it comfortable for long workouts. While it feels sturdy, heavy runners (over 250 lbs) might notice a bit of shake at higher speeds.
Pros:
- Smooth, quiet motor for walking, jogging, and moderate running.
- 0-10% incline for varied intensity.
- Folding design with EasyLift Assist for space-saving convenience.
- iFIT-compatible with immersive workouts.
- Cushioned deck for reduced joint impact.
Cons:
- iFIT subscription required after the 30-day trial.
- Not ideal for high-intensity, long-distance running.
- Basic display (no touchscreen like premium models).
Final Verdict:
For the price, the ProForm Carbon TL is a fantastic treadmill for beginners and intermediate runners who want a reliable, quiet, and feature-packed machine for home workouts. The incline and cushioning add great value, and the folding design makes it apartment-friendly.
If you’re a marathon runner or need advanced features, you might want a higher-end model, but for everyday fitness goals, this treadmill is an excellent choice!
Would I recommend it? Absolutely!

Love my treadmill! I didn’t need anything fancy, as long as I can get in my steps and move my body. This does just that. I usually use the incline all the way up the 15%. I like to feel like I’m hiking up a mountain.
