Usage is so easy, one of my children (age 7) uses it. Delivery was a breeze, fast, friendly and efficient.

Proform is at least replacing it but I’ve had it for over a month and haven’t even gotten to use it. Still no update on the delivery date for the motor

Workout programs are not adjustable for intensity.

The issue is with the 32 advertised workout programs and the fact that they are non adjustable. So regardless if you weigh 100Lbs or 250Lbs your resistance level will be exactly the same for every program. According to the companies customer service line there is no way to set an intensity level per program. The only other options is to use manual mode or pay the extra $40 a month for their ifit program. I'm very disappointed in the level of performance from this not inexpensive elliptical.

We are happy to hear that Best Buy provided you with great service. Although the preloaded programs are not adjustable, resistance and speed can be overridden manually while in the workout.
iFIT currently has three plan options, and we encourage you to check the current price on the Individual Yearly plan, which is only $15 per month. The $39 per month plan is a family membership with the option to have five users.

Tech. adj. tension still too high for 130 lb user
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The base tension is excessively high. When I first got it I could barely use resistance levels 1-5. A certified technician came in to adjust the tension. He had to take apart the machine to adjust the tension. There is no easy access, unlike other better designed products. I weigh 130-135lb, probably more then the woman they use in their marketing materials. Now with the adjusted tension I am only able to use resistance 1-15 (15 is being generous). Levels 16-22+ are almost useless to me. So that means I also can’t use their subscription workout iFit (which they HEAVILY push you to subscribe to) or their preset workouts since both automatically choose and change the resistance. You also can’t set a base weight for the resistance. Seems the company has forgotten customer needs and instead focused on profit. Hope they pull their act together and find a way to fix this problem, even for those that already paid a grand and 1/2 on something I get 1/3 of the use out of. Avoid and find a better elliptical and company.

Our fitness equipment is designed to deliver a tailored work out experience for a wide range of users. To accommodate a variety of body types, the feet on this elliptical can be adjusted for different user heights. Similarly, the resistance can be adjusted to match different fitness levels.
It is not expected that all users will use the highest resistance levels, just like we wouldn’t expect all users to lift the heaviest weights in a weight set. The key is to use the resistance levels that match your fitness needs and goals.
As you do iFIT workouts, you can easily control the resistance while still following your iFIT trainer. You can also use the elliptical in manual mode and customize your workout by manually changing the resistance to where it feels best.

DO NOT BUY ANY EXERCISE MACHINE FROM BEST BUY

I am a totaltech member and I still have been treated like an absolute nightmare. I ordered this elliptical for delivery and installation on a set day and time. I was given a window of 3-6. They called to say how late they are and showed up at 8:30 PM. When they opened the box, the elliptical was fully assembled already, as opposed to being in pieces for them to bring upstairs to assemble. They said there was nothing they could do, they did not have the tools, knowledge, or time to disassemble the entire machine and then reassemble upstairs. We tried to call best buy and were put through the ringer of holds, transfers, disconnects, and representatives who didn't speak English or understand how to help. The delivery drivers refused to take the machine back in their truck, and said we must have Best Buy figure out how to pick it back up. Best buy said I had to wait until the next day for their system to process the appointment as beyond "in transit" I've been on the phone with them for hours all day and now they are saying I have to wait another 24 hours because the delivery drivers have still not marked the order as past "in transit". I have this 500 lb plus box taking up my entire living room for an unending date in site. DO NOT ORDER FROM BEST BUY THEY ARE PROVIDING GARBAGE SERVICE.
