It is pretty quiet compared to other treadmills I have used before. There is plenty of space for water bottles. You do not need to set it up with the login despite the many stickers and instruction sheets demanding you do so. It has a blue button on the middle of the display, flip the power switch on the base, then you press down on the blue button for about 30 seconds and it starts up. Cons: The reset/off switch is at the bottom front of the machine requiring you to duck under the handlebars. This would not be an issue because it can be turned "off" by pressing stop and removing the key except that it makes a constant though barely noticeable noise if not switched off or unplugged.

The fan helps out so much when running. It says you have to register to ifit start it but you don't. You can bypass the ifit subscription and use as is. Great buy! I picked it up at the warehouse but it was super heavy. I would definitely pay to get it delivered

However, I am not pleased with the difficulty I’ve encountered trying to obtain from the manufacturer replacement parts for four defective ones. Sad to say, that process is continuing and recently included my being sent a part for a Nordic Track elliptical machine instead of one for my ProForm treadmill! Stay tuned…

Cannot ask for better than that. The 2 guys were very nice and very to the point. They put it in the room where I asked them to put it. And now the fun begins!! I highly recommended downloading the BILT app to follow instructions on putting it together. It was very helpful. It took about 1.5 hours to get it assembled and working. My wife and I just gradually put it together, nothing to hard about it. I can't say I like having the IFIT stuff on it. It's crazy to think you have to activate that JUST to turn the thing on. I will be cancelling the subscription. If I wanted a personal trainer, I would be going to the gym instead of purchasing the equipment. Also, it said on Bestbuy.com, the treadmill comes with 50 pre-loaded workouts....WRONG! I cannot find them anywhere. All we can seem to do is manual stuff. Anyone got suggestions? Overall, it's going to do the job, but I hate that IFit is so much a part of it.

The ProForm Sport 5.5 Treadmill doesn't need iFIT to function. You can still use your machine in manual mode and run a small selection of onboard workouts. However, you will need a paid subscription to access iFIT's entire workout library. You do need an iFIT account and internet connection to access the onboard workouts. If you decide to cancel your subscription, the paid workouts will be locked, but you will still have access to the free ones.
However, we offer a 30-Day Free Trial of iFIT. When you decide to keep the membership, there are three options: a Yearly Family Plan for $396 per year, a Monthly Family Plan for $39 per month, and a Yearly Individual Plan for $180 per year. iFIT will conveniently automatically unless you go into your account and choose to cancel.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great treadmill, didn’t have to subscribe to the Ifit, just pressed the ifit button on the top right for about a good 20-30 seconds and it unlocks it. After that I was able to customize the settings like lower the volume, start walking and change the incline. Hope this helps.

Parts wrong size don't match

Called for replacement still wrong size, called again today second request. Waiting for the proper size screws. Obviously I am not the first customer who has this problem and the vendor should have included the proper screws with the original order. The reviews did not indicate this delay.

Proform and Best Buy I would not recommend

Excited and ready to run on April 9, 2023, and I started running. Within 3-5 minutes the belt slipped and it cracked the end of the treadmill. Thankfully I was able to catch myself to avoid serious injury. Long story short, I called the company and explained and requested a a replacement. They offered a repair I entertained the conversation-and rhey Indicated it would be 6 weeks or more before I would get service. They would send me the part and then I would schedule a repair person. They are aware this occurs and done nothing the wait is unacceptable. The return process at Best Buy is horrible as well. It is a hit or miss-returned it for a Nordictrack and I love it from Amazon. Less trouble with deliver and setup.
