I received the drone before these arrived in a separate shipment. By then I had flown the drone enough times and was more than comfortable controlling it. These guards just added too much weight and nearly doubled the overall width of the drone. Meaning it takes more thrust to takeoff, and the drone almost goes into a limp mode while drawing down the battery at a faster rate. Another flaw, the front isn’t guarded, so if you did accidentally run into a tree or pole, the cameras getting smashed and the front propellers are getting shredded. The guard also doesn’t extend above the props, so if you fly indoors and get close to the ceiling, again the props are getting destroyed. So I don’t know, it has some uses(mostly if you’re flying in a tight space), and they didn’t really cost enough to bother returning them. But if I purchased it again, I would probably skip ordering the guards.

Great for indoor flight or areas where there are trees I always use original DJI equipment

Great product, worth buying to protect from trees, but is likely to decrease flight time a little bit from the extra weight, not much tho.

I purchased this because I wanted to have a peace of mind while flying in tighter areas this’d help me keep my propellers safe. It does the job!

Best protection for your Mavic Air 2 and now 2S. They protect sideways as the drones miss side sensors, the size after installing is a bit overwhelming but you don’t realize it when it’s in air outdoors

If this is the first time you flew a drone this product is a must. It protects the blades if you bump into an object. Good product.

Great propeller guards. Although my Air 2s has excellent avoidance sensors I use the guards for indoor photo shoots when avoidance sensors are turned off. Please note that they are large.

These are worth it! I was filming, and didn't realize a post was on the other side of my path, and these saved my propellers, and my drone stayed in flight! Was so glad I decided to put these on!

It’s good protection for the air 2 since it has no side impact sensors but I feel it gets pushed by the wind much easier due to the lower performance put out when these are installed on the drone. Still good for beginners though.

Best thing they can make for you drone great for indoor use and great when you want younger kids to practice flying easy to install and remove I would recommend this for to a friend

They are a very tight fit. If you decide to put a skin on your drone it will make it to where they won't fit anymore. Unless you cut off the skin where the guards would go.

It's worthy the money to protect the Mavic Air 2 in case you want to film something extremely close even though you're using the N mode.

This is perfect to protect my aircraft. Use it first ween without it and lost 2 sets of elices because of simple crashes...so yeah great acquisition

Definitely came in handy when I let my son fly the drone for the first time! Definitely worth the buy for a first timer!

Keeps my air 2s safe. With no side sensor , i think this will be helpful in case the winds drifts it to a tree or a wall.

Protects the propellers well so won’t have to replace as often could be easier to store
