I usually by apple for one reason that is apple care they give you the best service money can buy. I always buy the three year apple care program. If I every have a problem with a apple product I call1-800-275-2273 which is apple care and my problem is always solved.

This is a great plan to have especially if you're a new IMAC user. I've had to call apple care several times for help and they are great. They took time with me and helped guide me through the problems I was having. It's worth having if you need any type of help.

A lot of things can go wrong with a computer....most commonly issues with the screen pixels or burn outs. I am a big fan of purchasing warranties.....things always seem to go wrong 1 year and 10 months later...I can rest easy knowing that my device is fully covered :)

We had some difficulties transitioning from our old iMac to the new one, but it proved to be problems with the printer manufacturer and cable company - both of which the Apple support solved. I was surprised when after I purchased the Protection Plan, I found out that the in store Geek Squad also had a plan, but wasn't certified to service through the Applecare Plan. It would have been nice to examine both plans and make an informed decision as to which way to go.

I don't want to have any problems where I need the apple care plan, but the peace of mind is great. Glad to see Best Buy offering the Apple Care plan instead of their own, like they use to do. Knowing that apple will be doing any needed repairs is helpful.

With a purchase of nearly 2k, it seems to make sense to purchase the protection plan. We haven't had to use it yer on the computer,but in the past when I've tried to get help with my iphone past the first year its a nightmare so it seems worth it!

Apple care is a must if you are buying any apple product. Luckily I have not had any problems, but with electronics you just never know. I'd rather pay for this now and protect my investment than not purchasing it and then regretting it later.

With going from a different brand to an IMac the little it cost for the extra will sure pay for itself. I am a beginner with apple products and I can call anytime and get support to allow time to learn the machine. very glad I took this plan.

not normally a fan of extra cost warranties but I always get it with apple products because it's pretty reasonable cost for good coverage. In view of the premium cost of apple products, maybe they should include it in the first place....

I purchased the 27" 5K Retina computer which looks beautiful. The Best Buy staff was extremely helpful and suggested I purchase the Apple Care for peace of mind. I am glad I did, thanks Best Buy, I am extremely happy with my purchase.

It is always better to insure your tech. You never know what might happen and AppleCare will always help and take care of your needs. I have always had positive interactions with AppleCare and would strongly recommend the service!

Haven't had to use this as of yet & I thought that it was over priced, but for the peace of mind that my wife & I will have for the next few years is nice, especially since we are moving & most things can be covered during the move.

Ihaven't had a need to use the apple care protection yet, but my thing is if you spend that much money to buy and imac, why not spend a little more to add the very much needed protection...you never know when you willneed it.

Even if I never use it I'm glad that I have the protection just in case. I reviewed my iMac and meant to give it a 5 and mistakenly gave it a 1 so if you see that review please note that it should have been a 5 for the iMac.

I have dealt with Apple before with a protection plan and they were very quick and efficient in fixing what I needed. I hope I never need the protection plan this time but it is nice to know they are there if I need them.

I've had this protection on all my Mac computers. Current one is #3. They all last a long time and you don't want to think about problems but they can happen. It's just in case and gives me comfortable no worries feel

I purchased AppleCare on the 27" 5k iMac and I think this is a must have. Nothing on the iMac appears user serviceable due to Apple's assembly process and this is simple insurance in case something were to fail.

When spending a considerable amount anything that can give you an extra piece of mind ...is priceless .. always get the ESTAR warranty that BEST BUY offers on any purchase ..it works an they HONOR their word

Anytime you buy electronics, you should buy this coverage. I know when and if I need it, the money I spent will be a fraction of a repair bill without it. Apple built it, Apple protects it.

I've so far not had to use my protection plan but I can't imagine spending this kind of money on something and not getting some sort of protection for it just incase something happens!
