I would recommend buying protection on all Apple products. Apple is expensive and to have a piece of mind when the unexpected may happen (water damage, cracked screen, apple customer support,etc.) puts my mind at ease

This is an excellent protection plan for my new MacBook Air and it also was for a great deal. I always believe when it comes to laptops and any high end electronic that purchasing a protection plan is the best thing to do. For the coverage offered and the amount of time I'm covered, and the cost of this protection plan....I am one very happy customer. Now I can rest easy that my MacBook Air is protected.

I'm not even sure if this is an option when purchasing but the salesperson just casually mentioned it and I agreed. When you're spending $1000+ on a computer, you cannot not have the 3 years of Apple Care. I haven't had to use it yet and hopefully never will but I'm very glad it's there! And at $249 (which comes out to be $6.91/month), you can't really beat the price.

We purchased this 3 year protection plan for piece of mind. It is great just knowing that should anything go wrong, we are covered. So far, I have not had to use it, but then again, it is there if I should need it. Buying a protection plan is always a personal preference, but for us, we feel that it was a safe and smart decision.

I haven't had to use my Apple Care Plan yet but I'm very happy to know I'll be protected if something happens! I really like that you can take it directly to Apple and have it fixed now. I feel like Apple Technicians should be the ones working with Apple products. The care plan is decently priced for what it does too.

In December 2016 I purchased a new MacBook Pro and opted to purchase the AppleCare Protection Plan for Mac 3 Year Plan. The cost of the plan ($249) is well worth it for the security it provides. I never had an issue that required servicing or repairs for my previous Mac, but I do know that I'm lucky in that respect. If I use the plan just once in the 3 year span, it pays for itself. Not having it could wind up costing much more. The plan provides a full 3 years of access to Apple experts for technical issues. Being a "not-so tech- savvy person," that's a feature that I have often felt a need for. Included are several repair options: Global, on-site, mail-in, or carry in. The plan provides coverage on hardware, not only for the computer, but for the power adaptor, RAM, Airport, USB SuperDrive, and Display. Also included is Software Support for OS X, How-To-questions about i-Life and i-Work, connecting to printers and Airport networks. I haven't had to use the product yet, but, like car insurance, it is comforting to know I have it if it's ever needed.

If I were you, BUY APPLECARE! I bought it on my last MacBook for $200. Something went wrong, and it needed a new hard drive which was a $280 fix, but I got it for free since I had purchased AppleCare. I had already saved myself $80, and it lasts 3 years!!! Worth the extra money, just in case.

When you buy an apple computer ... I think you would be crazy not to buy apple care. every time I've bought a product, a day or week out of short given warranty, I've had failure. with apple care, I get an extra year or two of peace and mind. worth $800, sold for $250. a deal

I've been a loyal Apple customer for over 20 years, and have purchased most of my home electronics at Best Buy. Although Best Buy is great, Apple products are their own animal. Fixing a dysfunctional MacBook monitor = $700+. Apple warranty = ~$300. Need I say more?

It just makes sense when one purchases a fairly expensive product (that could turn out to be a lemon) to add the Applecare Protection Plan. I haven't needed it so far but nice to know if something does go wrong, my computer is covered. Well worth the extra dollars.

Totally worth it for this type of computer! For the price, you've got nothing to lose!! It's better have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Bought the 3 year warranty. The staff at apple are always friendly and helpful in so many ways. I've had to use the warranty before, and no questions asked, they come out with a brand new product for you. I wouldn't buy anything else.

The apple care warranty is worth the money. It allows you to call with any questions you may have. If you drop or spill something on your computer. And even though it is rare if it were to get a virus they will fix or replace. Can't beat it.

I bought this as some just in case insurance. You're paying this much money for a laptop why wouldn't you make sure you have a plan to protect it? I haven't had to use it yet (knock on wood) but when and if I do, I'll be glad I have it.

I have not had to use the Apple care warranty on my new MacBook, but I have used it before on almost all of my other Apple products. Apple products are not cheap, so I would recommend investing in the AppleCare plan.

In my opinion, this is something that I needed to couple with my Apple purchase. It’s no fun tacking on protection plans but if you’ve spent this much money so far go the distance.

The Apple care protection is a "must have" purchase given electronic products are very "sensitive" in general. We have three children using Apple computers and have had to use the care service on more than one occasion to them fixed. Overall I would recommend this purchase to anyone who buys an Apple product of any kind for insurance purposes.

Mishaps happen and repairs can be very expensive. Apple Care provides the peace of mind that your product is covered should an unfortunate event happen. Bought this for MacBook Pro. Thanks Apple.

Very few things go wrong with a MAC but just in case take the Apple Care Plan for security. Repairs can be more expensive and it's not a do yourself repair type of computer. It's worth it.

I purchased this protection plan with my MacBook, Thankfully it was not as expensive as other 3 year protection plans. I would recommend anyone with a MacBook to purchase the extended warranty.
